'Damn thunderstorms, I hate them' Ikuto thought bitterly
Once inside, he was expecting Amu to be yelling at him to get out, but there was nothing. Ikuto started to look around the room and as he passed Amu's big blue wardrobe, he heard another load crack, but he also heard a faint yelp. He opened the doors and found Amu cruled up in a ball with a blanket covering her.
"Amu?" He asked, looking down at her. At the sound of his voice she looked up, frightened. "Why are you in there?"
Just then more thunder could be heard, and at the sound of it, Amu curled into a ball even more. After seeing this, Ikuto picked Amu up and carried her over to her bed. He gently layed her down, then lay down next to her.
"Why aren't you with your parents?"
"They went to the next town over to do a photo-shoot with Ami."
"Do they know you're afraid of thunderstorms?"
"Yeah, but I told them I'd be fine, like I normally am if I'm with someone."
"Is hiding in your wardrobe what you normally do if you're alone?"
"Yeah, but now that you're here, I don't have to." Amu snuggled closer to Ikuto after saying this. "Thank you for staying with me."
"No problem." And he just lay there, gently petting her silky, strawberry-pink hair, until she fell asleep.
'Thunderstorms, I think I could grow to like them' Is the last thing he thought as he drifted to sleep with his strawberry in his arms.
