A/N: I can't remember what fic this was, but it was a TodoIzu fan-fic and it was such a creative idea. I love the idea of Izuku worming his way into everyone's lives regardless of how he can't be a hero. Yet, he still gets himself into trouble. Everyone fucking loves him anyway – and oh my god just give him a hug and adopt him…! Izuku, you sweet green bean.

Chapters are short, because I'm lazy. Please be respectful and kind in the reviews, and if I don't update right away it's probably because I'm not feeling well. So, there's that.

Peace- Andie.

He couldn't be a hero because All Might said so.

But when he came to 'Sugar Pop' a small café located near U.A.'s campus, he saw opportunity to do something. Izuku was at Albany High, a school thirteen minutes away from his apartment, and that was the only place that'd accept his grades as he put everything else he had into trying for U.A. He didn't think of going anywhere else, he didn't think he'd have a future anywhere else.

Now, Izuku was trying for a different goal.

He memorized the menu at Sugar Pop and was a diligent worker. He even helped design and code the webpage, as the manager didn't really know how to do that. He felt good, as he got a raise for that. "Kid, you're a lifesaver, I didn't know what we'd do without you."

He felt good.

He felt like he belonged. Maybe not at U.A. not as a hero- but he could do some good here.

. . .

The first customer of the day, he recognized her as a student from U.A. Sugar Pop was close by U.A's campus so they often got students from there, but she was new. She looked like a first-year student, judging by the way she dressed. Her hair was tied back into a ponytail and she had gold-colored earrings pinned in both earlobes. She was pretty, that much was obvious but she seemed distressed from the way she was digging her nails in her palms and rubbing her hands together.

"Can I help you with something, Miss?" Izuku was manning the register today because Mamoru was sick. Mamoru normally manned the register, but Izuku got lucky (well he wouldn't count it lucky because he had terrible social anxiety and fumbled a lot and –) and got to see more of the locals. Even if he didn't do Quirk Research anymore, he got to talk to people, and heard stories of U.A.

U.A had an attack just two days ago. No wonder why this girl was nervous.

"I heard of what happened at UA," Izuku blurted out and then he covered his mouth and gasped. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean – "

"Oh, it's quite alright." Her features relaxed. It seemed that someone knew, someone cared. No one had talked to her about it, and her classmates were typically ignoring the subject as they were too out of it to really discuss the matter. "I appreciate the concern."

Izuku relaxed and managed a smile. Sometimes, being nosy isn't that bad. It pays off… Maybe.

"What's good here? I mainly get Starbucks, but this was closer and I didn't feel like taking the train."

"The Caramel Frappe is good, and you can always customize it to your liking, how do you normally like your coffee?" Izuku brought up the order screen to look at the menu items.

"I – I like it with heavy cream and sugar and light foam. I'm not a heavy coffee addict, unlike some of the girls in my class," The girl giggled. "How long have you been working here?"

"Three weeks, I tried getting into U.A. but… I couldn't… Rent's expensive at my apartment so I needed to get a job to help out," Izuku frowned. The girl made a face that replicated his sentiments.

"I see. What's your Quirk?"

Izuku's heart pounded in his chest. "I – I don't have one."

"Oh! Forgive me, I didn't mean to be rude." The girl brushed a hair behind her face. "My Quirk is Creation… The more I eat, the more I create. It's not really combat-savvy so I had a lot of problems getting past the entrance exam, even the written test was difficult. I feel like an idiot,"

"You create things? Like, what? Anything?" Izuku lit up, not wanting to feel creepy, he put a hand over his mouth. "Ah! Sorry, I don't – I mean – I kinda studied people's Quirk's for a while, it was my hobby. I wanted to see how I could put them into use one day… For maybe I could be a hero… But… creation sounds really useful. You could create lots of useful tools not only for your hero work but for support tools as well, I mean think of the possibilities!" Izuku gushed and the girl flushed a crimson scarlet.

She hadn't thought of her Quirk that way. "I – thank you… Your kind. I was often bullied for my Quirk, saying mine was useless and I couldn't get very far as a hero with it."

"I know how that is, I – "I Izuku bit his lip. "I was bullied to. For being Quirkless. Ah, I'm sorry, I'll get started on your order. What was it that you wanted?" Izuku began punching in numbers and brought up the order screen again as it had faded.

"I'll have a Caramel Frappe, extra cream, a shot of vanilla and a little foam," The girl was really intrigued by this indivisual. How could he have been bullied when he was so kind to her and so helpful? "May I get your name, sir?"

"Izuku." Izuku flushed and placed the order. "I need a name, for your order."

"Yaomomo." 'Yaomomo' took a seat by the metal chairs and her thighs caught a chill slightly and she shivered. "You've been very helpful, Izuku-san."

Izuku turned from where he was making the drink, but he didn't sway from his work. He was able to multitask quite well actually. The green-haired teenager just shrugged off Yaomomo's comment and got her drink ready then brought to her. "Here you are, Miss."

"Please call me Momo."

"A-Alright. Momo-san."

Momo giggled and sipped her drink, it was sweet, to her liking and had just enough caffeine to relax her. "Do you have any hobbies, Izuku-san?"

"Poetry," Izuku flushed. Momo quirked a brow. "Lame, I know. But I read a lot. I'm good at English and American History are my strongest subjects, so I'm really into writing and poetry as a hobby, I guess you can say writing is a side-thing."

"Do you write?" Momo blew on her drink to cool it off.

"I – no. I mostly have journals of things I used to keep when I was frustrated from middle school when the bullying got bad. It helped relax me. That and my Quirk research.

"Maybe you should start a blog, you could monetize it, perhaps you could go into journalism. You can still help people by moving them with your words." Momo smiled sweetly and Izuku flushed. She then set down her drink and fumbled with her hands. "You've certainly helped me today, Izuku-san."

"I – what?" Izuku croaked, his voice hoarse.

"You're the only one who's come to talk to me about the attack, and most of my classmates have merely brushed it off since exams are coming up. It's mostly like 'we don't want to talk about it because ignoring our problems are better than confronting them'. If that makes any sense" Momo wrinkled her nose. "My father was like that, it was rather toxic to our mother and she left, I – I'm sorry I'm rambling now."

"No! My father hasn't been very present in my life, so I understand, sorry, look at us, gushing out our feelings and we just met over coffee. How weird." Izuku laughed and rubbed the back of his hair. Momo chuckled.

"You're very charismatic. I think you'd do well in literature, I'd certainly love to read your work."

Izuku flushed. "Maybe I'll write a manga. I sketch sometimes. About hearos."

Momo giggled. She then looked at the clock on the wall and saw the time. "Oh! I have to go. My family's going to be making dinner tonight and I can't be late." Momo got up and bumped her knee on the table. "Ouch!"

"Oh, I'll get the door for you!" Izuku rushed to open the door. "You shouldn't worry, you don't want to hurt yourself."

"I'm not usually this clumsy," Momo giggled. "It was nice meeting you, Izuku-san. I'll come again tomorrow."

"Ah- you don't have to…" Izuku mumbled once more, embarrassed and flushing.

"But I must! I have to go now, take care, Izuku-san!"

She was nice. She was actually kind to him regardless that he was Quirkless. Izuku felt his heart beat fast, he texted Mamoru about an hour later – asking if he can close up shop as his mother was cooking dinner and no one seemed to be coming in. Mamoru said yes, Izuku nearly skipped on the way home. Okay, skipping was kind of gay, and he wasn't gay, but he was happy and his mother made Katsudon, and he actually had a reason to go to sleep without feeling bad about himself.

Izuku wondered if he should take Momo's advice and start a blog.

He couldn't wait to see her again.

A/N: I once read a BakuDeku Poetry Nerd! Izuku so I thought this was fitting. I mean the idea of Izuku being a literature geek is really fitting. I can also see him being into photography or art, he just probably never got back into it because he got into UA and that took up most of his time. I can also see him being a Science Geek too.

Oh lord have mercy, I'm going to have to write poetry. (Save me.) Maybe I'll copy some. Does anyone know any places for good poetry? I suck a poetry and lyrics. So, this will def be a challenge, and I'm kinda basing Izuku off of Peter Parker here. Just a little head's up.

Please let me know if you thought Izuku & Momo were in character or not! There will be character development between the rest of UA and Izuku. I promise. It's just hecka slow-burn so it's going to take a while to get there. Sorry.
