It was summer. Sokka quickly decided it was his favourite season. Azula took him to the beach and she laughed when he burned his feet at the hot sand. 'Don't you feel that?' Sokka exclaimed, looking at her feet.
She rolled her eyes. 'I'm a firebender, Sokka,' she said.
'That doesn't mean you're fireproof!' Sokka said.
Azula smiled.'Let's cool off,' she suggested.
Sokka forgot the pain as he ran after Azula towards the water. It was cool enough for his feet, but warm enough to be pleasant. He grabbed Azula and they tumbled. 'Sokka, you fool,' she said after they had emerged from the water. Sokka laughed and brushed some wet locks that stuck to her face away before he kissed her. He wished life would stay like this forever.

It was autumn. Sokka quickly decided it was his favourite season. The sun wasn't ridiciously hot anymore, but it was warm enough go outside in just a shirt. Azula and he walked around the garden, enjoying the warmth of the sun and the views around them. 'It looks really beautiful, doesn't it?' Sokka asked.
'What? Me?' Azula asked, smirking as she squeezed his hand.
Sokka rolled his eyes. 'You always look beautiful,' he said. 'I meant the leaves.' Azula looked at the threes around them. 'They are dead and decaying,' she said.
Sokka threw an arm around her waist. 'I still think it's beautiful.'
Azula threw them another glance. 'Yes, I suppose you're right,' she said.
Sometimes, she decided she found it too cold. Sokka didn't understand how anyone could find autumn in the Fire Nation cold, but it also meant he could wrap an arm around her waist and hold her close.
He wished life would stay like this forever.

It was winter. Sokka quickly decided it was his favourite season. It still wasn't too cold outside, but it got dark early and he would spent entire nights with Azula on the couch. They drank the tea Iroh made them as they talked about their dreams and plans. Azula allowed Sokka to cuddle her as they sat in front of the fire. She would light the candles if he asked her to. Sokka wished life would stay like this forever.

It was spring. Sokka quickly decided it was his favourite season. He had never seen flowers bloom before and he thought he could wander through the gardens forever, if only Azula was by his side. Occasionnaly, he assembled a bouquet for her.
'I'm not Katara,' Azula said amused as he tried to put one of the roses he brought her behind her ear.
'I think it looks great on you,' Sokka said.
Azula rolled her eyes, slightly blushing. Sokka loved how her cheeks got the same colour as the rose in her hair. She didn't remove the flower.
Sokka wished life would stay like this forever.
