Kiss it Better
(Prompt: Be careful.)
Niou tends to Kirihara's hurting cheek.
1. Be careful
(Niou x Kirihara)
"Jeez, bratling," grumbled Niou, opening up the first-aid kit beside him to treat the other's wound. "Take care of yourself a little better, will you?"
Kirihara made a face at Niou as he rummaged through the kit. "It's not my fault, Niou-senpai! Fukubuchou is just brutal when it comes to slapping, you know? God, five minutes late and he gets really bit--"
"That's just it, you idiot," interrupted Niou, motioning for the younger boy to come closer. "You're not supposed to be late when Mura's not around." He swabbed the alcohol-soaked cotton ball carelessly over Kirihara's cheek.
The black haired boy whimpered as the cool liquid hit his stinging cheek. "Hey, can't you be a bit gentler? The way you treat me makes me doubt our relationship sometimes."
Niou frowned even more as Kirihara tried to get away from the hand holding his jaw. He looked exasperatedly at the younger boy's stubborn looking green eyes. "What, do you want me to kiss it better? That wouldn't even help things."
"Yes, it would," said Kirihara, slapping Niou's hand away from his face once he finished applying the band-aid. "A kiss always helps, that's what Buchou says."
"Well, Mura's always right, hm?" replied Niou. He stood up from the bench to come in front of Kirihara.
The second year smiled as Niou leaned down to brush away his bangs and press his lips to his forehead. "Heh, Niou-senpai, you didn't kiss me on the place that actually hurt."
"If I put even the slightest pressure on it, you'd cry like a baby, bratling," retorted Niou, straightening up again as he headed for the exit.
"Whatever," mumbled Kirihara, following his boyfriend back to practice.
The minute Kirihara started doubting was the same exact moment that Niou would reassure him. Usually with affectionate little gestures like that.
Or sometimes with something more pleasurable.
