A.N. In order for this to make sense you must understand that this follows a EWE (epilogue, what epilogue?) format. Also I don't own any of the Harry Potter characters and don't mean to violate any copyright laws.

I knew this day would come. The day they hunt me down for being a blood traitor.

I honestly don't see a reason to run from them, but here I am. Running for my life through this dense forest. A life unworthy of running for. Tears flowing down my face because I'm losing energy fast and know whats going to happen once they get their psychotic hands on me.

They say being Avada'd doesn't even hurt, but something tells me they have worse planned for me. Will they give me the same treatment they gave my parents?... Whatever treatment my parents got I still have no clue about.

I should turn and receive whatever head on, right? Potter would have...Hell! Lognbottom did it, why can't I? Maybe because they made it out alive and I definitely won't.

With a gasp and painful trip over a tree root his internal debate stopped.

Scurrying backwards up to the base of the nearest tree he sat. Wide eyes and heaving chest, scared to death.

"Hello Draco." sounds from the shadowy figure standing just meters away.

"I'm not scared of you... Dolohov." He replied with the best sneer he could muster given the circumstances.

Draco winced when searing pain shot up his leg informing him even if he wanted to run some more this sprain wouldn't allow it.

"I think you're lying to me Malfoy." was punctuated with a menacing laugh as he moved closer.

"Me lie to you...never." Draco said with a smirk. A defeated sigh escaped him as he accepted the inevitable. "Shall we get this show on the road then?"

As Dolohov held his wand at the ready something odd happened Draco's very eyes.

A piece of glistening tapered metal jutted from Dolohov's esophagus. Leaving a two inch vertical incision in its wake as it leaked blood from the tip.

Draco couldn't tell if this was his rescuer of just another Death Eater trying to kill him and take all the glory. He was hoping on the former.

Dolohov dropped to his knees as the metal receded into the flesh again and revealed a hooded figure behind him. Draco could tell Dolohov was still alive from the blood gargling gasps being made.

The hooded figure bent and with a swift jerk Draco could hear spinal bones snapping as the figure twisted the head into an unsightly position.

With a soft thud Dolohov fell sideways and hit the ground.

As Malfoy went to catch a glimpse of his hooded savior the wind picked up and swept the hood away from the persons face.

That's when it happened, when steel met amber.

They stayed like that for quite some time. Wide eyed and mouths agape. Not Blinking. Not moving. It even seemed like they weren't breathing. The only noise was the leaves rustling and explosions happening far off in the forest.

Amber eyes broke the tension first by righting their self.

"Hello Draco." came a female voice as she withdrew a cloth to wipe the blood from the blade before she sheathed it.

I don't know which hello was more shocking.

Delirium is the only thing that could explain what my eyes are showing me right now.

"Grain-" was all Malfoy could get out before...

"GRANGER! Grab him and let's go already!" was bellowed from behind her.

Her form walked up to him with an outstretched hand. "Come on Draco. Let's go, yeah?"

He couldn't even comprehend an answer before everything went black and silent.
