Hey guys, just a little something that kind of popped into my head, not really sure where it came from. Hope you like it!
Kisses in the Rain
Awaking with no memories,
Leaves his mind ill at ease,
Locked in a small brick shed,
As to not cause fear and dread,
Though townspeople still hear the howls,
Thankfully he cannot prowl,
Most won't venture out at night,
In case they see an awful sight,
He did not choose to have this life,
The one full of suffering and strife,
The wolf they all fear,
Is a friend many hold dear,
He turns into a wolf on full moons night,
And causes many souls a fright,
He sends many running with a shudder,
But has set on heart a flutter,
The one that takes him from his room,
To save him from eternal gloom,
That one that takes away his pain,
With gentle kisses in the rain,
While Sirius may be a clown,
He avoided letting Remus down,
He knew he had what it took,
To pry his nose out of a book,
Remus knew this was no fling,
Sirius loved him more than anything,
Always sympathetic to the plight,
When it comes to changing night,
Sirius spends all night on guard,
Outside the door he locked and barred,
When morning comes the noises dies,
Sirius hears Remus sigh,
In he goes to clean the wounds,
Both as silent as Egyptian tombs,
Just as Remus begins to cry,
Rain starts falling from the sky,
Sirius smiles and takes his hand,
Leads him out to the grassy land,
"Let me take away your pain,
With some kisses in the rain"
Remus' pain too much to endure,
Had Sirius searching for a cure,
High and low he searched the world,
Only to have his plans unfurled,
Alas no such thing did exist,
The cure remained on his list,
As they lay down side by side,
Sirius' heart was full of pride,
For the strength and optimism Remus had,
That got them through both good and bad,
The years pass, they both age,
Remus he continues to change,
Despite the years and Remus' condition,
Sirius continues on his mission,
To be there for him through it all,
To pick him up from every fall,
Help him conquer all his mountains,
And swim in fire whiskey fountains,
And always take away his pain,
With soft, sweet kisses in the rain.
