"Strawberries" he said simply, looking at her in amusement as they sat in the outdoor coffee house that looked over the city. She furrowed her eyebrows toward him and took a sip of her coffee, leaving it down and crossed her arms on the table; leaning a little over them.

"Strawberries?" she asked in annoyance, rolling her eyes and he grinned, mimicking her position and looked about the place to ensure no-one was looking.

"Yes. Every time you walk into a room, all I can think about is...well strawberries"

"Huh really?" she smirked, already believing he was away with the fairies. She had no idea why she had decided to bring him to the coffee house for, all he had been doing was wrecking her head about `Facts of Nature` from his point of view.

"Yes, it`s a fact of-"

"No, no it`s not"

"Ok maybe it`s not but that doesn`t mean it`s not a valid reason for you reminding me of strawberries"

"Why do you make everything so difficult for yourself?" she asked as they stood and began to wander down to the steps that led to her car. He looked at her in confusion, he sure didn`t know what she had meant by that but he continued to walk along side her. They hopped into the car, buckled up and drove off. She was drumming her fingers along the steering wheel while Jane just stared at her.

"Yea Jane?" she asked, already sensing she was being watched by the blond haired man sitting next to her.

"Did I ever mention how much your hair compliments you? I mean the whole shape, the bangs-" he was cut off by Lisbon`s voice and he glanced over to her, his eyebrows raised and she kept her eyes on the road. She had to admit, it was sort of sweet of him to compliment her like that. Though, she remembered he had been observing her alot lately. But for him to say it so freely, he had to have something hidden up his sleeve.

"Ok so what do you want?" he wasn`t too hard to read.

"What do I want?" what do you mean by that?"

"You`re looking for something from me because you`re complimenting me"

"Alright I admit I am. Can you stop by the store? I have a few errands to do there"

"No Jane, do that after work" she said, glancing over to him and he gave her a look he just simply couldn`t say no to.

"I need to go now"

"Jane now is not the time for chocolate peanuts" she scolded and he arched a brow, looking up at her and coughed. She pulled up on the curb and he grinned brightly, noticing the store only a few meters away.

"Thank you Lisbon"

"Don`t spend all day in there"

"I won`t!" he called, jogging up the car park and she chuckled as she looked out the rolled down window at his hideous jogging, It really didn`t look normal. After about five minutes, he was coming back out flailing a packet of something above his head while holding a plastic bag in the other. He made his way to the car and he grinned at her then ran around the front and into the car sitting comfortably on his seat.

"Chocolate peanuts?"

"I couldn`t resist" he grinned and she tilted her head, looking out the window for a brief moment and turned back only to find Jane`s hand in her face and something in her mouth.

"Bite" she followed his order warily, only to find it was the sweet flavour she enjoyed so much.

"Mmm strawberries"

"Yup strawberries, oh and Lisbon?" he asked her and she looked over at him.

"Your hair really does compliment you"

To his statement, she really couldn`t stop herself from blushing a little and she chuckled, taking a strawberry from its tray and bit into it, liking her lips and started the car back up and drove off into the sunset...
