Doctor pulled up to the desk "two for laser tag"
The clerk smiled and handed him two tickets.
"Doctor for the last time take off that stupid knight hat" demanded River.
"But I like it, and it makes me look like a warrior", he whined.
River rolled her eyes and dragged him into the arena. They pulled on their vests and waited for the countdown. When it hit zero River turned to the Doctor and smirked at the blue lights on his and down at the red on hers.
The Doctor gulped and ran to take cover, but he turned around again River was nowhere in sight. There was a zap and his armor started to beep.
"Ahhh, No!" the doctor whined a second time that night.
"Hello Sweetie", she smirked and ran the other way before the doctor's armor came back on.
Oh it is on the doctor thought and ran up the ramp to the tower to see where she went.
The score went back and forth between River and the Doctor until two minutes remained.
Currently, River had taken over the tower and the Doctor waited just outside of the ramp waiting for her to come down. River was a point in the lead, but the Doctor refused to lose.
When the speaker announced that there was one minute remaining, the Doctor decided to go up the ramp and try to use the element of surprise.
River was crouched and the end of the tower just waiting for the Doctor to come up. When he did she shoot right at the light on the end of his laser gun, and the doctor frowned and pouted.
The next second the Doctor pulled out his sonic screwdriver and everything went black.
"Oops….." he whispered.
"Now you have gone and done it! How are we going to get out now!?" River fumed.
The Doctor hit his sonic screwdriver against his palm a couple times and was able to turn there vests back on, but not the arena. He could see River's mad face in the glow of her vest and managed to squeak out a small sorry.
River dragged him by the suspender all the way down the tower and towards the exit, feeling her way to the door that had been opened. When they got outside they returned their vests and turned towards the score board. River smirked when she saw that she had still managed to beat the Doctor, while the Doctor pouted.
"Oh come on now, you didn't honestly think you could beat me did you?" River smirked, enjoying herself too much.
"Next time we should just play air hockey", the Doctor sulked, while River laughed.
