Dean's last words.
(Set up somewhere during the 9th season, when the angels have fallen.)
Dean always made himself believe that he wasn't afraid of anything, but when it was finally his time, he looked into Castiel's beautiful eyes and whispered: "I don't want to leave... Please, Cas... I-I'm scared."
Castiel placed his cold hand on Deans cheek and a small tear rolled down his face. "Don't be. We'll meet again... I promise."
"No, Cas... We won't. If heaven is closed, where do I go? To hell? To... To purgatory?" Dean asked knowing the painful truth. Everything would end. He wouldn't go anywhere anymore. There would only be the eternal darkness waiting for him.
"Dean, I-" Castiel tried to comfort him by telling it was okay, but they both knew it wasn't.
"I love you, Cas," Dean whispered with a hoarse voice as his eyes closed. When Castiel realized that Dean was gone, his hands started to shake and his bright blue eyes filled with tears. It felt like an enormous part of him was removed and it hurt. It hurt more than any fight, any war, any torture he had gone trough. Dean, his precious, vulnerable human was gone. He was completely alone.
"I love you too, Dean..."
I hoped you liked it and I would appreciate, if you review.(:
