***Hello, everyone! I just finished the first day of my summer job, but if you think that'll slow my writing down, then you're wrong. I wrote this when I wasn't busy. Anyways, Jack, Sally, and the entirely of Halloween Town belongs to Tim Burton, and let's go!

La. la, la, la-la la, la, la, la-la la, la, la, la-la la, la-la la, whee!

The residents of Halloween Town applauded after finishing their anthem. They congratulated one another, high-fiving and the like.

"Our most horrifying Halloween yet! Thank you, everyone!" Jack said proudly. But when the cheering died down, he added something else that he never had mentioned before.

"But I have to make an announcement. Sally, my dear, would you come join me?"

That got everyone's attention. Everyone turned to look at Sally, making her a bit nervous. They all knew that she was their king's girlfriend, and some of the women were quite jealous.

She slipped off her perch on the Hanging Tree and went to the fountain, the clicks of her shoes on the cobblestone ground far too loud for her liking. "Yes?" she said.

Jack got out of the fountain and took her hands. "Sally," he began, "as you know, we've been together for a long time now."

Sally nodded. "It will be three years, come December," she said.

"Exactly. And I've made up my mind about something. I've realized I'll never find a woman like you anywhere else. I'll never find anyone who I could love any more than I love you. And you were there for me, even through my Christmas catastrophe. You're my simply meant to be," Jack said.

He knelt down, pulling something out from his coat. A ring. It was a shimmering black diamond with what appeared to be frost flecks around it, but were actually smaller diamonds on a silver band. The town gasped, and Sally's expression read pure shock.

That was when Jack popped the question.

"Will you marry me?"

Everyone around them was silent. Sally lost her cognitive ability for a few moment. Once she remembered how to breathe again, a smile spread across her pale face.

"Yes. Yes, I'd be happy to!" she said, not bothering to contain her excitement.

Jack slid the ring onto her finger. It was a perfect fit. He stood up and met her for a kiss, holding her in a long embrace afterwards.

The sounds of Halloween Town cheering and clapping were nothing to them. They were in their own little bubble right now.

"Sally?" Jack asked. "Yes, Jack?" Sally asked, not moving from the hug her new fiance held her in. But she looked up when her chin was gently tilted up so black eyes met eye sockets.

"You've just made me the happiest man dead."

***Hey, when I get bored, it's usually just fluff that pops into my brain. Anyways, be sure to leave a review on the way out and I'll see you all in the next one! Bye!
