Author's note: Hello there, person behind the screen. My Name is A Nobody, but you can call me, Doctor Homicide. This is but the first story I shall tell you. So if you've come here from a point where I'm a well known author, let it be known that this story was the first of it's kind, the first story I published publicly. So now with that out of the way, lets see what made The Soldier the man he is now. Starting with his failed enlistment.

Footsteps can be heard. A man rushes towards the army enlistment camp. The man who will bring victory to the U.S.A. The man that will fight for all under the American flag. The man who will aid in spreading freedom to all corners of the globe. The man who's heroics will go unsung to all but a few. This man was John Howard Doe. One thought ran through his head. "This is it! The day I will join the United States military and join the land of the free in it's quest to kick communist ass and spread freedom and democracy to all!"

He lined up. More and more men leave, and he gets closer to the recrution tent. Eventually he gets to the tent and gets to the interviewer. "So Mr. Doe, what is your motivation to join the army? He said. "To kick commie ass in the name of America!" John exclaims. " … Ok then, any previous fighing experience? The man asked. "Yes! I have previously gotten into 1,639,842 fights in the name of America, and in most of them, I have come out on top!" John said. "…" "Ok then, firearm experience?" The man inquired. "I've touched many many guns in my life, and I'm a very good shot." John replied. "…" " Well then , thank you for your time. We will think about your enlistment. Expect a message within a day's time." The man said. " Thank you sir!" John said.

The next day John woke up and immediately checked his mailbox, what he found though, was saddening. "Dear , We regret to inform you that you have been rejected by the United States militia. Reasons being: your love of america would make you break the rules of warfare. Sincerely: The Military." John looked at the letter. He read it once, he read it twice, he even quadruple checked the letter to make sure it was real. And then, he burst into tears. After he cried enough to fill the ocean, he said "I-it's o-ok i-ill *sniffle* j-just g-go t-to t-the o-other b-branches of t-the a-army." And the very next day, he went to the next branch. He got turned down. Next branch? Rejected. And it kept going, until one day, he went through all the branches of the army, and they all rejected him.

That was the day when he made up his mind. That day, was the day where he decided to sneak into poland. And nobody could stop him.
