Measure of Love
"Sasuke, how much do you love me?"
The Uchiha put down the magazine he had been reading to momentarily glare at his blonde lover before going back to reading.
"Sasuke! I'm serious! How much do you love me?" Blue eyes stared at the brunet earnestly from across a little, round café table. Several heads turned toward the outdoor café terrace; Naruto was never one to keep the volume down.
"Why do you want to know? I've told you I love you, why do you need a number attached to that?" Sasuke readjusted the magazine to hide his now faint blush. Love wasn't something that the brunet liked to talk about a lot. Sure he said it every now and then, mostly for Naruto's sake, but he preferred to show his emotions thru action rather than words. The blonde wasn't happy with that answer so he decided to return to the tried and true method of competition.
"Well, Lee told Sakura that he loves her 24/7 and he says that everyday."
"That's just dumb." Naruto winced. That was not the most reassuring thing to hear from the young man you've been in love with for the past seven years.
"Fine then! If y—"
"25/8."
"What?"
Setting down the magazine, Sasuke leaned in, keeping eye contact with the azure orbs before him.
"I…love…you…25/8."
The two shinobi stared at each other for a moment. Naruto, finally happy with the Uchiha's answer, nodded in agreement, a big grin plastered to his face, and returned to sipping the glass of lemon water between the two of them.
"I love you 25/8 too."
