Nick smiled at the practically asleep man currently curled against him. Greg had insisted that he wasn't tired and that he would be okay to watch the film. Of course Nick knew that there was no way he could possibly make it, especially after coming off of a double, but he knew just as well that once Greg got an idea in his head, it was impossible to shift it.
About half an hour in, the younger man had started to frown at the screen, a sign that Nick knew meant he was getting sleepy and soon would start to fall asleep. Sure enough, a few minutes later his eyelids had started to droop and he leaned more heavily against Nick.
"Greg, time for bed" he whispered into the Californian's hair.
"Nuh-uh, film not over" he mumbled in return against Nick's T-shirted upper arm.
"And you're still completely clued in as to what's going on?"
"Yeah" he made a half-hearted attempt to sit up.
"Then please, enlighten me"
"Well, they've moved now from… where they were before to this place."
"True, but what's going on with them?" he pointed to a couple on screen.
Greg watched them for a few moments before answering, "He's not very happy."
"Can you tell me anything other than what you've just studied?"
"Sh, Nicky. We're missing the film."
And Nick couldn't help but chuckle at the attempt by his boyfriend to cover up the fact that he in actual fact had no idea what was going on, but was so stubborn he would never admit it.
Eventually the end of the film came around, and he flicked the TV off before stroking Greg's cheek softly.
"Honey, film's over."
"I know."
"You gonna move?"
"In, a minute" he paused halfway through his sentence to yawn.
Nick glanced at the clock, and as he looked back down at Greg, he saw he was sound asleep. A small smile played on his lips as he played gently with his hair. He didn't want to wake Greg, due to how peaceful he looked. After a minute or so watching his chest slowly rise and fall he came up with a solution. Almost effortlessly he picked the lithe body of his lover up and walked him to the bedroom of their apartment. He laid him down on the bed and removed his shirt before climbing in next to him and pulling the comforter over them both. He smiled as Greg buried his face against him and made a point of remembering to suggest they watched films together more often.
