Chapter One
Kitty Bennet was never known as the prettiest of the Bennett sisters, not like Jane her eldest sister, Elizabeth, or even Lydia. But Kitty has grown up since her sisters have got married, she is now known as a famous beauty herself, though she cannot see it. Even her sister Mary has grown to be beautiful.
Kitty has become very mature in the past years since not being with her silly younger sister Lydia. Her farther commented on this often.
'Oh my dear Kitty, guess who are coming back to Meryton, Cornel Foster and his regiment' said Mrs Bennett excitedly.
Oh dear god, Kitty thought, she hated the regiment now, has never cared for them since her younger sister married Mr Wickham in such a dreadful way. Kitty thinks the whole of the regiment are like Mr Wickham, except for Cornel foster and his wife, the were very kind, when Lydia ran of with Mr Wickham.
'Oh mama, I hate the regiment, I think they are all ill favoured men, and very disapproving' Kitty replied at her mother, her father smiled brightly at her
'That what I like to here' her father said proudly.
'Mr Bennet, how could you say such a thing, they have always been very friendly to our family, and Kitty, your sister is very happy with her husband, is she not?'
'yes mama, but look at how she got her husband'
'oh Kitty, you do play on my nerves, when you keep on bringing that up'
'Mama, Kitty is right, I agree with her' Mary said smiling at her sister. Kitty smiled at Mary back, to thank her for sticking up for her.
Mrs Bennet has always wanted to marry all her daughters off very fast, especially to rich men, even if none of her daughters did not like the men. Mrs Bennet had a caring heart really but she did apply the pressure, she loved all her daughters, but worried for the welfare, as is to why she wanted to marry them quick as men look for young wives.
Kitty was nineteen and Mary was one in twenty. Mary was already engaged to Mr Crawford who was a clergymen, but he was nothing like Mr Collins, he was sensible, and fun and you could see he loved Mary very much and she to loved him.
