Lestrade was talking to another detective in the far right room. John and Sherlock walked into the room. The room had a faint smell of a man's cologne. Certainly not theirs, they never wore any cologne. Peculiar it was. It seemed as no struggle had taken place. Peaceful and undisturbed, something you wouldn't say about a crime scene, but then you get a take of the corner
of the room and see pieces of glass shattered and scattered around the window.
Lestrade locked eyes with Sherlock.
"So what do we have here, detective inspector?" John said as he looked around the room.
"Two girls kidnapped, a woman unconscious, so she won't be able to talk to you right away, and who ever it was busted in through the window." Lestrade said pointing at the broken window.
Sherlock walked to the window. A baseball bat was located near it, including some books and a small take of a yellowish substance.
John on the other hand had deduced a few things about the room.
The baseball bat, it was moved. Maybe to break the window?
Maybe to attack the woman? Could explain the reason why she was unconscious. Those two deductions were secure in his head.
"The baseball bat," John started.
"No, John. You're over deducing." Sherlock breathed out. "I know what happened."
"Okay so what happened?" Lestrade and John monotonous said.
"A demon." Sherlock smiled. He loved when he got the demons. Those things were easy to kill.
"So it wasn't the baseball bat?" Sherlock puzzlingly looked at John.
"What?"
"The... baseball.. bat. It.. you know.. could.. contain a ghost.. Possess over the object?"
