The Reason

the kiss on the pier..... it's gonna be realistic !

Ryan's POV

I asked her to meet me at the pier so I could talk to her. I never realized what I was gonna do . When I saw her coming towards me I could have died ! It was a rainy overcast day but somehow her skin glistened. She walked over to me not knowing exactly what I wanted nor did I.

I'm not a perfect person,

As many things I wish I didn't do,

But I continue learning,

I never meant to do those things to you,

And so I have to say before I go,

That I just want you to know.

Then I just started speaking from my heart, as corny as it sounds it works.

"Marissa, I just want to tell you I love you" she looked truly taken aback so I started to speak. "I'm so sorry for not forgiving you, the whole ordeal brang back memories from Chino and if I was there now I would never have forgiven anyone one for not trusting me. But you're not just anyone. You made a mistake and I see that now, Marissa I'm sorry"

I'm sorry that I hurt you,

It's something I must live with everyday,

And all the pain I put you through,

I wish that I could take it all away,

And be the one who catches all your tears,

Thats why I need you to hear.

With that being said I carefully put my hand in her hair and softly kissed her. She hasn't said anything yet and I'm kinda scared but then she says it "I love you Ryan Attwood, we needed this time apart to find our selves and to find out how much we love each other" she said with pure sweetness in her voice. We then walked hand in hand down the sun setting beach reminiscing on how much we missed each other down to the exact details.
After our walk I asked her if she wanted me to drive her home. She said "I want to spend every minute of today with you including tonight" she said that with a sly grin that made me shiver.

When we got back to the Cohen's we went into the pool house and just laid on the bed together. After 30 seconds of that Marissa inched her way to my lips. When they finally touched it was like fireworks going off. She got on top of me and started nibbling my neck and shoulders. It seemed she wanted more than a makeout session. I pulled away for a second and asked her "Marissa? is this leading to what I think it's leading to?" with another sly grin she said "You'll see" ok... I said to myself does she or doesn't she ? I'm putting my bets on yes so I told her I'm going to the bathroom but I'm getting something else (AN-a condom) When I come back I see Marissa sprawled out on the bed looking radiant.
