So it's early in the morning where I am and just had to get this out before I could sleep. My interpretation of C.S Lewis' Four Loves in relation to Ron and Hermione, I decided to go with unconditional love over charity. Drabble.

The Four Loves

Storge - Affection

x

The sight of her eyes widening at the shelf of new books in Flourish and Blotts.

The way that he eats all the crust off his toast before eating the bread.

Her endearing tone of exasperation when she realises he hasn't been listening to Professor Binns – again.

That little piece of hair that he constantly has to push away from his eyes.

x

Phileo - Friendship

x

They can hate each other one moment and be united the next.

The fact that they were, and would always be, friends first.

He makes her laugh and not just giggle.

That he can talk to her about anything and gets her truth.

x

Eros - Romance

x

He gave her perfume for Christmas.

The way she kissed him first.

All those stolen glances and moments.

That they fit together just so.

x

Agape - Unconditional Love

x

How he looks at her, eyes puffy, hair a mess and still calls her beautiful.

She sees him - and only him – in a sea of Weasleys, famous best friends and ruddy international Quidditch players.

The way they are so different and yet somehow mould into one.

That there was never a doubt in anyone's mind that they would be anything but Ron and Hermione.

Fin.

Oh, plot bunny...
