Summary: Kagome stared hungrily at InuYasha's Ramen. Will InuYasha give it up?
Author's Note:
Hello again, my readers. I must apologize once more. I sent a message to all who reviewed this story when it was first posted so that they would be aware that the first one was deleted, so that I, myself could correct it. It was rather confusing before, but all is well now.
This story is dedicated to my grandfather who passed away on July 19 of 2006. He was an amazing man who has always inspired me to follow my dreams, even now that he is in a better place. My sister inspired this when she ran into my room one stormy night in the summer a few years ago screaming at the top of her lungs that there was a spider under the bathroom that was attacking "Timmy" –an ant she had named- and was about to eat him. So I ran in, and I thought of InuYasha. I don't know why, but I did. XD Please enjoy, and sorry for the obviously long Author's Note.
He sat there eating his ramen quietly, peacefully; if it wasn't for those slurping noises you could have mistaken him for an angel. Kagome was surprisingly hungry, but being the kind person she is, gave InuYasha the only cup of Instant Ramen in her bag. She watched greedily as InuYasha ate. InuYasha felt a pair of brown eyes on him, causing him to stop eating and look up at who ever was interrupting his dinner. When he looked up he saw Kagome staring at him hungrily. He noticed that every few minutes she would lick her lips and wouldn't stop clutching her stomach. He decided that either she was hungry or pregnant… he decided to go with hungry. Then, as if to prove his point, her stomach growled loudly.
He
cocked his eyebrow, "Oi, Kagome! You hungry?" "No."
She replied as her stomach growled letting her know that it wasn't
good to lie. "Keh, you're an awful lair.'' "I'm
not lying!" He growled angrily. Did she think he was
stupid? Not only was she an awful liar, but her stomach kept on
growling every other minute! She was letting the whole world know
that she was starving. He dropped the chop-sticks into the cup of
ramen as he stretched out his hand, handing Kagome the hot cup of
ramen he was devouring minutes before. She looked at him. "InuYasha,
I can't." She said as her stomach growled yet again as if yelling
"No fool! Grab it and feed yourself! He is offering it to you, for
crying out loud!" He growled "Just eat it; you weakling
humans need more strength than me." She stretched out her hand
taking the cup from him, her fingers ever so softly caressing his.
She began to eat quietly. When she finished, she looked up at
InuYasha. She stood quietly, leaving the empty ramen cup behind. She
got to him, bent down, and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. And
then she whispered "Thank You, InuYasha."
Walking over to her mat, she left the dumbfounded InuYasha alone to blush crimson red forever… or maybe till the next morning.
