Earlier today I was watching Cinderella with Yuzu and it made think that Ichigo isn't very romantic. Just look at Prince Charming he loves Cinderella so much and hes willing to show it. Cinderella gets to have a loving Prince who will always love her and shower her with his love. I mean what can't Ichigo be more like Prince Charming and of course I had to say this outloud and Yuzu told me that Ichigo is better and that I'm just caught up in the movie so she suggested I make a list of things that make Ichigo who he is.. So I thought I could try it I mean there has to be more to him than a moody scowling strawberry right? I went with Yuzu's idea and made a list.
Scowling - He does an awful lot of it. Its not that I hate his scowl I actually like it because less women appoach him.
Bad taste in art - Its clear he can't appreciate art. I'm a great artists yet he can't see that.
A carrot top - He gets more comments about his hair than anything. Karin actually had a T-shirt made for him saying "This is my NATURAL hair color."
Loyal - He's never betrayed any of his friends and never will thats just how he is and I love that about him.
Freakishly tall - He calls me a midget but hes just too tall. My height is perfectly normal hes the one in denial.
A great fighter - When Captain Zaraki hunts you down for a fight you either are someone he wants to "spar" with or dead meat.
An overprotective but loving brother - His sisters mean the world to him and he protects them even when they don't need it. Karin can clearly take care of herself and Yuzu isn't as naive as she use to be.
My best friend - We've told each other everything (bluntly) from the start which is why we can take a dagger or two from one another. He understand me and I understand him.
When I look at the list I feel that all of these things are what makes Ichigo who he is. Of course theres more to Ichigo Kurosaki than this but I don't feel like opening that can of worms at the moment. However there is one more thing about Ichigo Kurosaki an that is that hes mine. I may not have a picture perfect boyfriend but I'm extremely happy with Ichigo and I'm certainly never bored when I'm with him. Also when I think about it the Prince Charming would be a sappy boyfriend that would just end up bugging me. My Cinderella story is just a little different. Instead of a castle I have a closet. Instead of evil step sisters I have loving ones. One thing I have in common is that we both have our Prince Charmings.
