Yet another Gollum Song!
Thought One says, "This world is cruel. It hurts uss."
Thought Two says, "You are not going to write it."
Methinks, "Let's proceed."
"Why does they hates usss, my preciousss?
Why then they loves usss, my preciousss?
Why preciousssssss...?
They hurts uss, they chokes uss;
gollum, gollum..."
After a respite he continues,
"Master looks after us now,
They.., they comes after uss."
His beady eyes looks like it's about to pop out. He looks really scared. He turns and literally runs on all fours to his master, as if the enemies from high places of Barad-dûr are after him. He claws on his master in his panic. But master's faithful servant is not pleased. He throws the creature away from his master.
"Bad fat hobbit. It hurts usss." He hisses in pain. Suddenly he remembers again the cause of his pain and the pain emanates through all his features. His master seeing it asks, "What is it, Smeagol?". Then he tells them in a low voice, hissing in between words.
Both hobbits bear identical expression on their faces as they listen.(My dear readers, I do not have the heart to tell you of that look on their visage. It hurts uss too much... ) The master who recovers first says, "Let's flee."
Notes:
Gollum's emotions gradually change from frustration to fear. You can interpret 'usss' as 'Tolkien world' or loyal Tolkien enthusiasts or both. Frustration and fear are for debasing. Sam's response of attacking Gollum, can be thought of as one of those flamers' response. :) Then Frodo's response, "Let's flee" can be taken as a response of those true enthusiasts who do not care to flame, but rather totally ignore those torturous fan fictions and their writers and focus on giving vent their frustrations in a different way. I also think, Tolkien' creations including his characters would rather flee from those cruel hands than sit around. ;) Can you imagine that?
