Chapter 3-Things Were'nt Ruined at All!

"I . . . p-pushed . . . MacKenzie . . . then I hid when I heard you coming, Mrs. Hollister.", I gasped. MacKenzie raised her eyebrows in atonishment. Mrs. Hollister gave me a glare, and threatened to call my parents since she knows who I am, and my dad(long story).

MacKenzie held her new kitten, grinned at me, and sashayed over Brandon; batted her eyelashes, and flipped her hair(which caused some blond extensions to fall on Brandon's feet).

"Toodles, dork!", smirked MacKenzie as she passed me. I gritted my teeth, but felt really happy to get Brandon out of the trouble. I shuddered as I watch them drove away.

"Hey . . .", smiled Brandon. I turned and felt queasy again. I've completely forgotten about how Brianna sent him that stupid message.

"Hey.", I replied almost as casually. I am shivering when light snowflakes started showering us. Brandon stared at me so long . . .

"Um, I-, uh . . . ", Brandon continued. He bit his lip and stared at the ground. That's when I blurted out:

"I'm SO sorry about that message Brandon! It was'nt me! It was Brianna who sent you that message, not me! Please don't be mad!", as I tried to hide my embarrassment about having a demented little sister.

Brandon smiled and he walked towards me. Then he whispered on my ear,"Is it about me? I knew you would'nt send things like that, Nikki. And besides, I can't even understand a word!"

I was SO happy and relieved that I started to laugh. Things weren't ruined after laughed too.

Then Brandon stared at me again, so intense and so adorable!

"I'm sorry about while ago. I should've not helped her at all . . .(if you're wondering what's he talking about, read the previous chapter . . . "Chapter 2-Getting Into Trouble") . . .but, thanks a lot.", he stammered. I smiled and stared at him.

"No, you've got nothing to do with this. I'm the one who's sorry! I fought with her . . . no fair if I'm not gonna save you from Mrs. Hollister!", I said.

"No, it's my fault! I should be the one who's sorry!", Brandon protested.

"Not you, me!"

"Me!"

"No, me!"

Soon we're laughing and joking. It's so nice to be with him. But the most SHOCKING thing that happened is when he leaned forward at me, his lips almost with contact to mine . . .

SQUEEEEE!

But I slipped on hard ice and fell . . . but he caught me.

OMG, I think I'm almost to PEE on my pants!

I blushed and stared at him . . . he blushed and smiled too. Then he whispered something to me . . . the thing he wanted to say after the Holiday On Ice show . . . (read the 1st chapter-Is Nikki's Friendship With Brandon Going to End?!) . . .

"Thanks a LOT about the . . .you know, the thing about Fuzzy Friends.", he smiled.

"No problem!", I said.

Oh,wait. I've completely forgotten about Brianna(1st Chapter). Surprises still awaits me at home . . . I'm SO dead when I got home!
