I'm not... strong.

I'm just a little girl who was brought up in the east blue. A small family.

No tragedy ever became me. I've read many stories about having a bad past and overcoming it.

No bad past really, just a few friendship blips.

My dream is to draw every island that I've visited..

Not exactly as a pirate, but I was always okay with pirates.

I stood up, saying goodbye to my family, and left to the sea with the small amount of food I wanted to take, a sketchbook, a few pencils, and a sharpener. I never expected to meet any pirates, any friends or any foes. Just to see ships pass by and to draw all the ships that pass.

I was met with a pirate ship a couple days after I left the island, I'm not bitter of them for taking my food. The starving men on the giant ship probably needed it more, even though they were headed towards 'Baratie.' I sketched the ship before moving on.

Passing many more islands, I ran into another ship. A goat. The leader smiled at me, as though I was the best thing he'd seen. I hid my books, my dreams, from this crew. They let me aboard, knowing I was starving, and had minor wounds from the pirates who took my stuff.

One night.. I was sketching, wielding a small flashlight, looking at the bright island. The sketch was just started, guide lines still on and everything.

"Hey, What are you doing?" The captain asked, looking interestingly at the book I had in my hand. Catching it before it fell, I slowly turned to him. His smile radiated brighter than the flashlight I was using.

Looking at him, I hid the drawing. "I was just doodling. Nothing too great." I gave off a small smile, getting a frown. He didn't seem to believe me.

"What about the other times you've been out here? Everyone's worried, they just wanna know if you are okay." The smile widened into a grin, nodding my head.

"There's nothing to be worried about. I just love to sketch. Islands are the best to draw too. One day I'll draw them all." The last part was quiet, yet audible. He gave a smile, staying up with me all night to see all the islands I've drawn.

Tomorrow was hectic. Sanji enjoyed seeing Baratie again, and the home islands for the rest of them.

Everyone loved the drawings I've made.

Everyone loves the drawings I've made.

I'm not as pretty as Nami or Robin.

I'm not as strong as Zoro, Luffy, or Sanji.

I'm not as smart as Franky, Chopper, Usopp or Brook.

But I have my own beauty. I have my own power. I have my own wits. We all have a place in this world. Maybe I haven't found mine. Maybe you haven't found yours. You will one day.

Just give it some time.
