No I'm not dead, just really busy. I'm working on drawing and experimenting with different genres, keeping stories a bit shorter, along with many other things. I hope for all of you who get the joke you get a laugh out of this. Tell me what you think aka: Reveiw

"You know people are starting to wonder." Ben told Dexter one day.

"Wonder what?" Dexter said not looking up from his work.

"Why they can't have vehicles in the future, y'know like now." Ben answered back.

Dexter paid no mind to his question. He was asked this time and time again, it felt like everyone was nagging for an answer and he was going to finally give one.

"What are you doing?" Ben asked as he heard Dexter's wrench drop.

Dexter got up and turned his head. "Giving them an answer."

Dexter had grabbed a mini camera from his workbench as he made his way over to the testing wing. Ben followed, unsure of Dexter's actions.

Dexter clipped the mini camera to a testing window so the lens faced him.

"Turn the camera on." Dexter instructed Ben as he did so.

Dexter cleared his throat as he began to speak.

"My fellow fighters," Dexter began "you may wonder why in your time there are almost no vehicles, when in the past they were. Fusions have not completely destroyed our technology as they have our buses. In fact we do have new models and blueprints."

And Ben realized what was happening he didn't know how but Dexter was sending a message live from a camera in the distant past to every working TV in the sad future.

"To be honest it has nothing to do with your experience level, or how well you perform in combat." Dexter continued "But we at Dexlabs have promised to bring the best quality vehicles and there are still some…………. bugs that need to be fixed."

And suddenly a loud crash was followed that pounded on Ben's ear drums. Dexter nudged his head signaling Ben to turn the mini cam towards the window. As he did his mouth dropped. There was Dee Dee frolicking around a white testing room in one area.

Across from her was a mountain of demolished vehicles and the newest one which was in a sorry shape. Its handle bars broken, it's framework punched in, and seemed to be smoking………before suddenly it burst into flames and then spontaneously combusted into thin air.

Ben veered back a bit looking back at where Dee dee was spinning doing her ballet steps seeming, to pay no mind to the utter destruction she seemed to have caused. Dexter had told him of his sister destructiveness but he'd never seen it himself.

Ben turned the camera back to the indifferent Dexter who had only an ounce of irritation in his eyes.

"To be frank, the reason why we haven't brought the future any vehicles, lately, for long periods of time is for this simple reason: We have not Dee Dee proofed it yet. That is all."

And Ben turned off the camera, and stared at Dexter for a bit in disbelief. Dexter's mouth pulled into a satisfied smirk.

How that video had been sent to the future live from the past, he didn't know. But there was one thing he did know now.

Ben finally spoke flabbergasted "That explained SO MUCH!"

Ok yes, it's THAT short. And maybe Ben is a little Ooc at the end. But the objective is to keep it short, sweet and funny. What do you think?
