"Remus! Remus!"
Tonks ran desperately through the battlefield, dodging curses as she ran. She stopped short when she saw Remus Lupin lying in the grass. "Remus! Don't be dead, please don't be dead." She checked his pulse. She found it. Weak, but it was there. "Oh Remus, can you hear me?"
"Tonks?"
"I'm here honey. I'm here."
"I love you."
"I love you too. Remus? Remus!" She sobbed over his now lifeless body.
"Want to join him?" cackled an all-too familiar voice from behind Tonks. "It would seem that is the second of your family members I've killed. You can join them if you like."
"Stay away from me you bitch!"
"Is that any way to talk to your aunt? You need to be taught a little lesson in manners. Avada Kedavra!"
Tonks expertly dodged the curse, and it hit the castle behind her.
"No! Fred!" She heard the scream from the building and turned to look.
"Avada Kedavra!"
Tonks tried to duck but she was too slow. Her final shriek pierced the air and she fell on top of her husband.
