Prologue: After Zordon's passing
20 years after Countdown to Destruction, Angel Grove has now become a peaceful and prosperous community. The Rangers of years ago have retired and passed on their powers to their next of kin. The Mighty Morphin, Mythical, Zeo, Ninja, Turbo and Space Rangers are in charge of protecting the Earth and the entire universe. Tommy Oliver has retired and transformed NASADA into his own headquarters for all the other Rangers to report back to him in case of emergency.
In 2018, several NASADA workers discover a train station underground that leads to an unknown destination. They contact headquarters noticing the path that the rail roads take.
"Sir, we found something."
"What is it?"
"A train station. Odd."
"Odd indeed. Follow the path. Tell me where it goes."
The workers take a hover craft to follow the rail road, suddenly it splits into several paths and then they take an upward 90 degree slant where they end. Then a rainbow shows up and five trains colored red, blue, yellow, green and pink appear.
"Sir, looks like we found something interesting."
"Wow, it looks amazing. You know what to do next."
