Prologue:

"Yahiko, get up!" a voice shouted from the kitchen.

"Shut the fuck up! I'm up already!" Yahiko shouted from her room.

"Stupid bitch can't leave me the fuck alone…" she grumbled under her breath, today was the day

she was leaving for Japan. Yahiko reluctantly got out of bed and grabbed the only things she was going to

bring her luggage, her skateboard, and her wolf-dogs carrier along with its accessories. Yahiko slowly

trudged through the front door and put everything in the back of her stepfather's 1979 Chevy truck.

The only good thing about going to Japan is she wouldn't have to put up with her mom's boyfriends

physical abuse anymore…she thought as she sat on the old rugged seats and buckled her seatbelt. Her

stepfather got in the truck and started it not bothering to buckle his seat belt.

"Tim…you should really buckle your seatbelt…" she said quietly.

"Shut up and don'ts you be tellin me what tah do yah hear?" he snapped back.

"Yes sir." She said sarcastically another regret formed in her mind as she felt a hand hit her hard in the

face.

She felt blood trickle from her lip as she built up the self-control to keep herself from hitting him back.

At the moment she was happy to get away from the once happy place she called home, ever since that day,

that one day her life fell apart. She turned on her I-pod and listened as she watched the cars fly by the

passenger seat window. This was the last time she'd see this place…she wasn't planning on ever coming

back this was her final good-bye. An hour and a half of silence went by before they finally reached the

airport. Her step-father took all of her stuff out of the bed of his truck and sped off leaving her alone at the

airport…after an hour of chaos she was finally on her way to Japan, her chance at a new start and hopefully

her chance to be free…
