Another of my alternate endings for episode 100. Very short and fluffy and off in my own alternate universe Hope you enjoy!

Booth and Brennan walked down the steps of the Hoover Building after their latest session with Sweets. The session had been interesting to say the least. But, they had accomplished their goal, and disabused the young psychologist of his thoughts on their first case.

They had felt bad that the results of that first case had altered Sweets hypothesis about their relationship so much. They told him everything. Well, almost everything, and that was bothering the FBI agent. Stopping abruptly he asked her:

"So do you feel at all bad about lying to Sweets back there?" Booth questioned her.

"No." She answered matter of factly, "I don't believe we lied at all."

"Ok, well maybe we didn't lie, but we weren't all together truthful." He pushed.

"As far as I am concerned, we answered all of his questions truthfully. If he wasn't bright enough to ask the right questions, then that is his own fault." She returned, stopping and turning to face him.

"Yeah, I guess you're right, but still, I feel kind of bad." He said walking towards her.

Looking him in the eye she said, "Your religious guilt is ridiculous, you did not commit one of your so called sins."

"I know," he drawled out, stepping even closer to her. "But don't you feel a little bad holding back a little."

"If he had asked us if anything had happened between the end of that case and now, then yes, I might have felt slightly uncomfortable not washing ourselves of it."

'Washing ourselves of….Oh, you mean coming clean about it." He smiled at her attempt at a colloquialism.

"Yes." She answered.

He hooked one arm around her waist and pulled her closer. His other hand went to the collar of her dress. Slowly he eased a few fingers beneath the fabric and was able to locate the object he was searching for. He pulled the slim gold chain out and gazed at the delicate gold band encircling it. The ring was warm in his palm from her body and the site of it spread a giddy warmth through him.

"Don't you think this is kind of a big secret to be keeping from him, from everyone? I mean it's been a year now Bones. What do you say we wash ourselves of this?" He said in a teasing tone.

She stared down at the chain and the gold band cradled in his palm. There were times that she could hardly believe she had been this lucky to have found him. She stepped closer to him causing him to drop the chain and encircle her waist with his other hand.

She stared at his chest, too nervous to look at him while she made her confession. So instead of gazing into those warm brown eyes, she chose to keep her eyes downcast and concentrate intently on one of his shirt buttons, playing with it lightly in her fingers.

"Well," she started hesitantly, "I don't think that we're going to be able to keep this a secret much longer."

"I don't see why not, not much has changed." He stated.

Still enthralled with the button she continued, "Well, I think, well actually I am quite certain, that we are going to have a baby in about 7 months. So I am sure someone would be bound to notice that."

She felt him still and a moment later his fingers come to her chin applying a gentle pressure forcing it upwards.

"A baby?" he asked in amazement.

"Mhmm." She confirmed.

His reaction had been all she had hoped for. His smile had been instantaneous and brilliant.

Without warning he lifted her off her feet and twirled her around with joyous laughter. They were going to have a baby. He and his Bones.

"I love you." He said before claiming her mouth for a gentle kiss.

"I love you too," She returned matching his smile.

He turned and offered her his arm, which she gladly accepted. Together they descended the rest of the steps and continued on, lost in their own little world of happiness. Secrets were meant to be discovered, and they couldn't wait to share this one with the world.
