Chapter 1: A Robbery at Giovanni's and April Being Kidnapped
It was a Monday night in New York City, and a man standing six feet tall in his boots was at the counter. A woman was taking orders. Once it got to the man's turn, she asked him what he would like. He ordered a big three-meat pizza, and a Bud Light. The Bud Light was on the counter in like two seconds. The man ordered a big pizza, because this was meant as a distraction to do some robbing. The man pocketed his beer, and went behind the counter, grabbing a random pizza box. The man did not care what kind of pizza it was, he just wanted a free pizza. The man was about to leave, when he tripped, and narrowly catching himself on a counter. The commotion attracted an employee's attention.
"Hey, that's Mr. Miller's pizza. Give it to me!", said the employee.
The man kicked him really hard, sending him down. The employee was knocked out cold. The man held the pizza in the crook of his arm, and ran outside, to get on his horse. The pizza was in his saddle bag, and the man still had the beer in his pocket. The horse jumped onto a small building rooftop, and jumped onto other buildings, taking the man to a cave outside the city. The cave was in Tennessee.
Meanwhile, back at Giovanni's in New York, Leonardo was there in disguise. He was pretending to Arnold Miller. He was wearing a New York Knicks baseball cap, white t-shirt, blue jeans, and old flip-flops. He was mad that the pizza he ordered was stolen, and he got the three-meat pizza the man ordered at half price.
Leo was about to go home, when he found a map on the floor going from New York to Texas. He figured it was left by the person who took the pizza. He went home, and told the story to his brothers, Splinter, April, and Casey. While they were eating dinner, the news came on, talking about the robbery at Giovanni's. Others also said there was someone who had stolen their stuff. These people were from all over the United States. Everyone on the news pieced together that the robber was the same person from all of those places, as the description was the same all over the country. Splinter decided to let the turtles go after him. April said they all should go.
They went to the rooftops, when out of the blue, two little men lassoed April. The turtles, Casey, and Splinter tried to fight them, but they were too fast, and carried April across their backs, and jumped onto two horses, leaving them in the dust. Leo got out the map, and decided to use it.
"Good idea", said Casey. "They were on horses.
