Chapter One
The Letter~Grizelda
They say to live everyday like it's your last, but what if it really was? What if you knew that there was no tomorrow? What would you do? Who would you talk to? What would you tell them? Personally, I'd do everything! I'd go visit Gringotts and tell them that their security isn't really as amazing as they thought. I'd finally bring my younger sister Billy to the Leaky Caldron to show her how to get some illegally free Butterbeer. I'd show Henry, the owner of the bookstore, how many books he's really missing (So far he's only realized he's missing 157). And after all of my mischief is put away, I'd finally set our pet Pigmepuff free. But how would we know if today was our last day? The point is we don't. We never will. So we live every day at a mediocre pace and hope to have a second chance to really fulfill our biggest dreams because there is always something holding us back, whether it be the put downs from others or ourselves we never seem to complete our bucket list. We never really live any day like it's our last. I try. I can guarantee you I try. But it's hard. One of my biggest dreams is to have a home; a comfortable place to sleep, a table to eat at but more than all these things, I want to find my parents.
I ran at top speed, through the fields of thick strings of grass trying not to trip as I hurried away from the man behind me. "AVADA KADAVRA!" He yelled viciously. It was very difficult to dodge but I managed. It began to become harder and harder to breath but I managed to maintain my pace. "COME TO ME LITTLE GIRL! COME!" He yelled mockingly. "NEVER WILL I LET YOU HURT ME!" I responded furiously. Then, just when I thought I was picking up speed and leaving him in my trails, I fell through a large hole hidden under a pile of leaves. It was an endless hole it seemed. No end in sight. Only darkness seemed to lie ahead. It was empty and quiet. Until I heard a faint noise from the back of my head, "Zelda, Zelda!" A frantic voice called. They were calling me. The voice became louder, "ZELDA, ZELDA…." There was silence. Then, "GRIZELDA WAKE UP!" I woke up. Alive… Sweating insanely… But alive. Then I realized that the chase was only a dream. In front of me was my younger sister Billie. She looked concerned and worried. I was sure she was the voice I heard in my dream. "Zelda, you were yelling in your sleep again! What's wrong?" She asked.
"Nothing." I began. "I just had another bad dream." I lay my head back down on the torn pillow beneath me ready to go back to sleep.
"Don't go back to sleep!" Said Billie "If the costumers hear you yelling they'll start to get curious!" I sighed. It was always annoying when you couldn't make noise during store hours. Billie and I lived under a bookstore near Diagon Alley in London. We had nothing but each other. Everything else wasn't really ours. Our food, blankets, clothes and books were all stolen from the bookstore above us and stores on Diagon Alley. "Common!" I said. "Let's go down here." I pointed towards a crack in the wall.
"Where does it go?" She asked.
"The Leaky Caldron. I snagged enough money from Gringotts yesterday to get us two Butterbeers." So we set off through the crack and continue through the damp tunnel towards the leaky caldron.
