This is my first attempt at writing anything romance, much less shonen-ai. I'm scared out of my mind right now, hoping this will be decent. Anyway, the parts in quotes are from a DBZ episode. In the Japanese version, when they're inside Buu and just after Vegeta takes the right path in Buu's brain, he says it. Inspiration hit me like a truck and here we are. I can see myself in that happy loving gaze
But every time I look away
I'm reminded of just how
Cold and ugly
I really am.
I still don't understand
What you see
When you look at me.
You make me want to be weak.
You make me want to be strong.
And I just can't make sense of my brain
Anymore.
