Hedwig Come Home
It was just a normal day at the Aqua base well normal for everyone else at least. That is if you were Harry Potter who currently had himself locked up within his room refusing to come out. Much to the rangers and Captain Mitchell's dismay they knew why Harry had locked himself in his room. They'd just wish that he'd come out every once and awhile and stop worrying everyone about his well being. Dana knocked on Harry's door and got the same response she had been getting all week "GO AWAY!"
"I am not going away little man" Dana told Harry from the other side of the door. Dana heard nothing but silence from inside Dana thought Harry had fallen asleep. "Besides I have dinner here for you that needs to be eaten " Dana said through the door. "Not hungry!" was Harry's quick even though he could hear his own stomach growling. Harry's quick reply to quick for Dana's liking to say the least. For the two weeks Dana allowed Harry to do as he pleased. But from now on she was going to put her foot down and whatever she said goes.
After a little tug of war with words Dana eventually won. She was able to get Harry to eat his dinner with the other rangers and their father/mentor. Although the rangers and Captain Mitchell felt their hearts break at the site of Harry. The little guy looked like he hadn't slept in weeks since his eyes were bloodshot from all the crying he did. As the rangers and Captain Mitchell talked as they ate their dinner Harry ate his in silence not say a word. I mean what could the others say that wouldn't make things worst; and make Harry's heart break even more.
After finishing his dinner Harry asked to be excused and his stepfather Captain Mitchell allowed him. Everyone in the Aqua base became super quiet as they watch as Harry enter his room yet again; never to come out again for quite some time. Everyone in the Aqua Base in general felt sorry for Harry and what he was going through. Just as the others were finishing up dinner Dana noticed a stuffed animal on the floor; not to far from where Harry was sitting. Picking it up Dana realized that the plush was in the shape of a Snowy Owl something similar to Hedwig. Closing her eyes for a few minutes Dana looked at Harry's bedroom door. She then looked at the others and said "She had some business to attend to."
Slightly perplexed by this the other rangers including her own father; watched as she approached Harry's bedroom door and knocked. "Go away"the voice from the otherside said. Dana wasn't deterred she had a mission to complete and she was going to see it through no matter what. Using Harry's passcode Dana entered her younger brother's room. Rolling over Harry groaned and threw a pillow at Dana all the while saying "I thought I told you to go away!" "Well I guess you don't want this then?" Dana said shaking the object in her hand.
Once Harry realized what it was he eagerly held his hands out for it; Dana was hesitant at first but reluctantly gave in. Dana watched as Harry held the plush animal close to his heart. Pulling Harry into her side the pair then sat in silence lost in their own thoughts. Until Harry looked up at his older sister and said "Do you think she'll ever come back?" Watching Harry come so close to tears made Dana feel like crying herself; sucking up a breath Dana said looking at Harry "She'll come back don't you worry. I betcha she's missing us more than we do her." "You think so Dana" Harry said with a smile on his face. Dana never seen Harry this happy since the whole ordeal began over two days ago and it all started with a letter.
