The sun was setting on the quiet streets of Peach Creek as the only sounds that can be heard are the cars on the streets ant the leaves rustling in the warm summer wind. During the past 6 years the neighborhood has increased in not only size, but population. Since the completion of the Peach Creek Estates many middle and high class families has moved in, and on the streets the sounds of motorcycle can be heard entering the city limits. Sure enough there is a motorcyclist going 65 miles per hours down on the familiar streets of Peach Creek as he stops at a red light. The motorcyclist is wearing a charcoal helmet, a leather jacket over a dark green tee, black shorts long enough to just past his knees and black classic sneakers with white laces. He turns his head towards a familiar sight in his youth. An abandoned building that used to have A Candy store. He still remembers the days when he and his childhood friends all went down to his dad's store and they all have a free for all with the biggest sweet they knew, Jawbreakers. However that action ultimately cost his family thousands. He join the football team during his high school days at Peach Creek to earn a scholarship to college, however an away game at Lemonbrook changed all that and his parents told him they were moving to the states.
"Hey come on buddy move it!" A voice behind him yells as he snaps back to reality to see the red light turn green apparently a while ago. He rev his bike a few times and continued towards his detestation. He closes his on his new home with ironically was his old childhood home which was on the right of a cul-de-sac. He pulls up into the driveway and turn off his vehicle and puts down the stand handle and pulls off his helmet and shook his red hair free only to pull out a red baseball hat and put on backwards. He was twenty years old His name was Kevin Lewis.
"Man, It's good to be back." Kevin praised breathing in and out heavily. He then hears the sounds of a car coming down his street way. It was a white 2008 Toyota Camry as it pulls into the drive way of one of his childhood friends houses. Kevin walks over so he could see the driver. Soon enough the driver seat opens and out comes A 20 year old man wearing a white button-up shirt and black slacks and black leather shoes. His hairstyle resembles a buzzcut but lower towards the scalp but there was still some hair on his head. "Jonny, Is that you?" Kevin asked the man as he got closer. Once the man heard his voice he looks at Kevin and grew a smile on his face.
"Hiya Kevin. Long time no see." Jonny greeted and he extended his hand and Kevin shook it. "Wowzers, look at you. It's like you grew three feet taller since you left." Jonny examined eyeing Kevin up and down. It's true Kevin grew five inches taller but than again Kevin nearly forgot who he was talking to.
"So what happened to plank? Did he grew to big so you had to plant him in the backyard?" Kevin joked.
"What are you talking about? He's right here." Jonny answered reaching into his car and pulling out a yellow plank of wood that had a drawn face on it. The board itself was a bit beaten up.
"Wow, he look like he's seen better days." Kevin mentioned.
"Yeah. Six years does that to a person. Just like plank says "Don't hate me cause I'm smart and handsome, and your not". Jonny replied back adding a quote that Plank supposedly said. "So anyway, What are you doing back in town?" Jonny asked.
"Oh yeah." Kevin remembered as he dug into his right pants pocket and pulled out a letter. "I got this letter a month ago to come by some company's technology lab to try out their latest product. It's apparently A super bike with 2200 horsepower, and when I also read it's in Peach Creek I just couldn't pass up this offer." Kevin explained. Just then a thought enter his mind. "Do you happen to see any of the old guys lately?" Kevin questioned wanting to know the new status of his friends.
"You kidding? We're all working in the same place now. I'm a mail room attendant, Rolf is one of the heads of security. Jimmy's the company's artistic designer, Sarah's an secretary and Nazz is just joining up. She close to becoming the owner's new secretary." Jonny listed down. Kevin was glad to hear that his friends were employed especially Nazz.
"So yeah about my company interview. Do you think you can help me find where it? The city change so much." Kevin asked looking out to the many buildings.
"Yeah you got an address?" Jonny asked back. Kevin then handed him the letter as his pointed to the address that read 4520 Main Avenue.
"Right on. This is so cool." Jonny celebrated.
"So I'm guessing you know the place?" Kevin asked again.
"Know it? We all work there. Me, Rolf, Nazz, Jimmy, Sarah. Now you too? It's like the whole gang back together again." Jonny wooted. Just then Jonny reaches into his shirt pocket and pulls out a black business card with white writing and hands it to Kevin.
"What's this?" Kevin looking at the black business card.
"It's the company business card. It has directions to the it's main registry and building. Well Me and Plank are heading in to eat the last of our pumpkin pie." Jonny ended as he ends his conversation and walked into the house. Kevin reads the writing and with each word he read his face grew more shocked. It was until he sees the company logo that he felt woozy in his knees
