Torian usually woke up before she did, but that didn't seem to be the case today.

She tended to sleep on his chest, but this time around she had ended up sleeping curled against his back.

He felt warm and solid against her, and Zanearo admitted it felt right, it felt safe. She lazily watched the rise and fall of his back for a little while, before the Chiss placed a blue hand on his back, tracing over the muscles and contours of his back and in a few cases the lines of old scars

Yet he did not stir.

She carefully moved away from his back, propping herself up slightly on one arm so she could see him, he seemed to be completely asleep. She smiled toying with his hair for a moment before moving down his sideburns and then running her thumb over part of one of his cheek scars.

Yet he did not stir.

She noticed a slight twitch on his face, yet again though he didn't seem to make any other indication that he was anywhere near awake.

With a smile she placed a kiss on his ear, she saw that twitch again but nothing else. She kissed him again, just under his ear, she watched as he seemed to scrunch up his face a bit when she did that. She felt as if she was going to giggle at him doing that, because she had to admit to herself it looked adorable.

She tilted her head before running on hand over his arm before lightly tracing the contours of it, he seemed to shift slightly. Her hand moved over toward his chest, she lightly traced patterns over his skin, feeling muscle and warmth and in some cases scars and he did seem to shift just a bit more but other than that.

Her hand shifted a bit lower, resting near his navel, she started to lightly trace patterns over his stomach and then…

Then his hand met hers, closing over it, brushing over her thumb slightly with its own it was only then that he stirred, he let go of her hand and she moved out of his way slightly watching as he stretched and turned to face her, before he pulled her close, touching her forehead to his.

"vaar'tur, cyare" He smiled sleepily, his face not betraying anything other than the fact he had just woken up. She took a moment to take in how he looked half asleep, with his blonde hair slightly tousled and the way his blue eyes blinked a few times as he slowly got more awake.

"Were you asleep for all of that?" She raised an eyebrow, before brushing his cheek again.

"Some of it, thought I was dreaming at first," He smiled brushing his thumb across the scar on her cheek, "But then I didn't want to interrupt you, Zanearo'ner," He chuckled.
