Chapter 1
Midnight already passed, but the adrenaline rush that dancing gave them pushed them past their limit for perfection. Three hours later, they finally decided to stop.
"Man, I keep messing up on the chorus part," whined Aaron.
"It's cool, bro. We needed a break."
Aaron squatted down and ran a hand through his damp hair. "That's easy for you to say, J-man. You and Brandon over there are like dancing machines."
Brandon smirked and said, "That's because you keep glancing at my perfect abs, baby."
Jason wiggled his eyebrows, and slugged Aaron's arm lightly. "Alright you guys, let's head back to the dorms. School tomorrow, besides, I'm long overdue for sleep."
"So am I," said a faint female voice.
The guys turned around and jumped a few feet in the air when they saw none other than a grinning Sophia.
Brandon rushed forward and twirled her around, while burying his head within her long blonde hair.
"Good to see you back, Sophia!" exclaimed Jason, reaching over to pat her head while Aaron tried to pry Brandon away. "We were thinking of heading back, join us?"
They headed down the hallway and separated at the grand staircase that marked the boundaries of the girls' dorms and the boys' dorms.
