Ch.1
Edward Elric never understood what it meant to have a real family.The ones with mothers and fathers and grandparents.So when one of his best friends family is killed, he didn't know why she was so upset.He just thought families were susposed to come and go, never stick around.Years later he understands that families are susposed to stay together.He learns this when he has his own family with his best friend, now wife, Winry.
They have been married for five years now and have one child, a boy, and another on the way.
Edward was sitting outside on the pouch steps thinking about his life and how he wished he could change it.He wouldn't change anything now, but when he was younger, he would change everything.
It all started when he was three.His father left when his little brother Alphonse was two.Shortly after their mother died when they were just ten and nine.They lived by theirsleeves for many years.When they became teenagers, the Elrics childhood friend Winry Rockbell lost her entire family in one night.That's one thing Edward would change.
This is how it started...

It was late one night in a small country town, named Risembool.Everyone was asleep, cept for one man.He wasn't a resident nor a vacationor.The man was looking at a small house by a hill-side.He starts to walk to the house when he hears a dog barking.He looked to the dog and pulled out a gun with a silencer.He shot the dog and made his way inside.
No one in the house noticed the dogs barking or lack there for of.He walked to the first bedroom he say and shot the person asleep.He did the same with the couple in the next room.He smirked as he saw a teenage girl, asleep in her bed.He walked to the bed and sat on the side of it gently.
'I'll let her live through this pain..' The man got up and walked back downstairs and out the door.Just as quickly and quietly as he came, he left again.
The next morning was filled with tears from the young Rockbell girl.For now she was with her friends Edward and Alphonse Elric.The two boys tried to cheer her up but nothing worked.Nothing at all.Ed would wonder what he could do for her.He figured out what after thinking almost all day.
He would find her families killer…..
