Author's Note: A short one-shot I wrote when I first found out about Elle's character, and even before I found out about her powers. I had to correct some things of course. Reviews would be love.
21st March
21st March was a special day for Peter. It was the day he found out he was crazy.
Thinking about if for a second, he realized he had probably lost his mind a few, no, to be a tad bit more specific, four months ago. Well, a little more than that. Maybe...okay, let's move on. Whatever the case, 21st March was still a special day for him.
He had checked the definition of 'sociopath with paranoid delusions' in the dictionary, but he had only found the word 'sociopath'. Wait, what the hell was he talking about. Maybe the jolts were getting to him. Anyway, the dictionary (Oxford: Advanced Learner's Dictionary, if you want any proof) stated: a person who has a mental illness and who behaves in an aggressive or dangerous way towards other people. Not that he didn't know what a sociopath was, he wasn't stupid. He just wanted to find out if it was someone an average guy could fall in love with.
Judging from that description, no, definitely not. Which brought him to the conclusion that he was crazy.
Though, he wasn't really an average guy was he? Out-of-this-world superpowers? Check. Ability to regenerate after getting blown up into macro-molecules? Check. Nearly caused an apocalypse? Check. So hey, he wasn'tan average guy, so he could definitely fall in love with a sociopath, right?
A hand touched his right up, and Peter felt a burning sensation. Next moment, he jumped out of his bed with an "OUCH!"
A giggle sounded in the quite bedroom. "Wow, you're sensitive today."
Peter winced. "No, I think you misjudged that jolt."
Another giggle. "Maybe." A yawn. "I'm sleeping again. It's too early for me."
Peter stood there for a moment, watching his sociopath snuggle her blanket. She looked so comfortable. A mischievous thought entered in Peter's head. He lifted his hand, a formed a small spark between two fingers. She did look comfortable.
He reached out his hand. Okay, not only was he mad, maybe he was becoming a sadist as well. What would Caitlin say?
Peter paused. What would Caitlin say? He gave it a thought. Oh well, she was in the future.
"Just let me have my electric session for now."
