In your home town, the Leaf Village, you are known as a witch. You practice dark magic, but only for jutsu. You are a rouge ninja, and watch from the shadows, watching as new Genin's came into the village. Watching, and waiting for the right person to come along.
When you were banned from being a ninja, you were at the current rank of a Jonin, extremely advanced for you age. The Hokage himself had taken your headband right from you, and threw it to the ground. He said that you were a danger to all of the villages, and were no longer welcome, here and you were banned from the ninja academy, along with the village. So you live on the border, between the Sound Village, and the Leaf Village.
Now to your family they had been dark magic users as well, but they had all been banned from the village. So the village took you in, seeing that you were just a child, and you were not into the dark magic like your family was. They taught you how to be a ninja, seeing that that was an important part of the village. But at the same time, you were practicing dark magic deep in the woods, were no one could see you. You never knew anyone in your family, except for the fact that they were kicked out of the village by the Hokage. You had never seen any pictures of them, or anything. It just seemed like there was no trace left of your parents or siblings if you had any.
You are living in an old hut that you built right in the large area between the two villages. Many little kids will come out to your hut, telling the tales that have been spread about you over the years. But you always managed to scar the little brats away with some long, purple streaks of glowing smoke, one of you trade-marks.
