Hate

The poem is based on what I think Kira might have been thinking when her stepfather was about to fall off Rei's building after fighting with Rei over trying to force her to go home. For the record, I do not own Mars or any of its characters.

There's nothing left here to be found,

My entire body is tightly bound.

All my cries trapped in my throat,

While you stand over me and gloat.

Your face shines, you're having fun,

Wait forever, the tears won't come.

Get your fork and get your plate,

Your gourmet delight is my hate.

Too long I've accepted all your abuse,

Contrite now? Hah! Too bad it's no use!

This man at my side is the one that I love,

But my uncomfortable hate, now fits like a glove!

If we do nothing, I can watch you fall,

I could be free of your depraved thrall.

Drop down there and smash your head,

You don't know how badly I want you dead.

I want to be free of these malicious bands,

But I don't want your blood on our hands.

I'll give in for now and I'll come home,

If you value your life you'll leave me alone.
