Though I know I should be wary….

The image of Beetlejuice reclined comfortably within the confines of one of Lydia's many mirrors. When his best friend was proposed to he panicked, fearing he would lose his best friend. Now as he followed her room to room, chatting about everything, he can believe he had doubted her. She had at least one mirror in every single room. With the blessing of her husband at that, a charming yet slightly perverted man after his own heart.

Noting the clock across from him on the wall, Bj focused his attention onto Lydia.

"Brats should be getting home soon."

"Already?" Lydia gave the light sigh of a mother. "Never enough time in the day. I need a vacay to the Neitherworld."

"It has been a couple months lyds." Bj remarked with an oddly thoughtful tone. "Fuck, nobody will leave me alone about when you will be back to visit with the kids."

Lydia laughed and smiled at the ghoul.

"The kids have a break coming up, we'll take a day trip. They miss Uncle BJ anyway." Lydia looked up at him from the corner of her eye to catch the bright red flush at the affectionate nickname.

"Damn kids…." He grumbled with no conviction.

Lydia had two kids now, and Beetlejuice loved them just like he loved her. The years and children had forced him to mellow out. Just around the kids at least….

They continued to chat about the upcoming trip to the Neitherworld when Beetlejuice felt and odd tingle spread over his body. His face scrunched as he searched the familiar feeling. Someone was summoning him.

"Everything ok Beej?" Lydia asked as she moved a stack of towels.

"I'll be right back lyds…"

With that he disappeared from her sight.

"That man will never learn any manners." Lydia grumbled to herself, but forgot quickly, she had other things to do and he would come back later.
