Chapter One:
"Making": the act of a person or thing that makes:
"TRAVIS! What in Hades are you making?" yelled Katie.
"Nothing Katie-Kat!" came his voice from inside the Demeter cabin at the same time as a muffled thud. Why was Travis in her Cabin? Now she was locked out. Lovely. It was Christmas time and none of her siblings were here so she had the cabin all to herself, except now, Travis was in there and she had just taken a shower, she was still wet, in a towel, out in the cold, and Travis was still an being an idiot.
"Get OUT I'm freezing!"
"But Katie! You're going to love this. So be patient." He replied in an exasperated tone.
"Are you making a mess in there Travis? Because if you are there is nowhere you can hide where I won't find you and put you through a miserable death."
"I'm making something but weather or not it is a mess is for you to judge so just chill your pants for a minute." He yelled through the door.
"I would" came Katie's impatient reply, "but I don't have any pants on!"
The door opened just a crack "Really?" he asked.
"Yes, I think it's rather obvious you pervert now let me in before I die of cold! You don't want me to remember this as the Christmas I nearly froze to death!"
"Fine, I'm finished anyways." he said actually looking a little worried.
Katie rushed in to her cabin, "You mind?" she said annoyed.
"Oh, yeah, sorry" he said averting his eyes from her lithe frame. After she had changed (and sneezed a lot) Katie looked around for the first time. Travis heard a tiny gasp.
"Oh, wow" she whispered, "Did you do all this?" Travis nodded "Its wonderful!" She said looking around at the giant fluffy mass of blankets and pillows on top of two mattresses now on the floor and the tray with hot chocolate, cookies and a collection of Christmas movies with a little DVD player.
"Thank you Travis, it's awesome." she said with a slight shiver. He guided her over to the mattresses and sat her down then wrapped her in a blanket and she motioned for him to join her. He plopped down next to her and started talking,
"I know how much you love Christmas and you're sad that you have to spend it here and not with your family so I thought I would try and cheer you up!"
"Thank you so much Travis, this is perfect." She told him with an extraordinarily happy look on her face
"How about a little kiss for the best boyfriend ever?" Travis questioned cheekily.
"Oh you mean the Best Boyfriend who locked me out of my cabin in the snow? That one?" Katie replied before a giving him a quick peck on his cheek.
"Well lets get started! I didn't make all this for nothing!" and he turned on "Home Alone" after a few minutes he looked down at his girlfriend.
"See, its not a mess, I'm making memories." He whispered down to her with his infamous smirk.
"You're so corny." Came a quiet response.
