Summary: Kagome had just come out of the bone eaters well when she finds a wolf-demon cub being attacked by a bird demon. After that day, Kagome's life is never the same again.

'Feels great to be home.' thought Kagome as she was getting out of the bone eaters well. Flashback Kagome got out of the bone eaters well in her own time. "Hello, anyone home?" 'I bet Inuyasha will be glad to see me back earlier then when I told him I'd be back.' thought Kagome as she climbed out of the Bone Eaters Well.

-Flashback-

Kagome got out of the bone eaters well in her own time. "Hello, is anyone home?" Kagome called out as she went into the house. She continued walking through the house towards the kitchen until she found a note from her mother taped to the fridge saying that they had gone on a trip and wouldn't be back for a few weeks. 'I guess they wanted to go on a trip while I was gone' thought Kagome before she began gathering what she needed for the trip back.

-End of Flashback-

Kagome's POV

After climbing out of the well and following the path to Edo, I froze when I heard a scream off in the distance. I ran towards the scream and gasped as I saw a Bird of Paradise ready to kill a small wolf pup, not ready to watch someone so young, even if they were a demon, die I rushed forward and pushed the pup out of the way. I bit back a scream of pain as I felt the talons of the bird demon dig into my arm and rip back out again. Instead of worrying, I just got up, grabbed the pup with my good arm and ran. "Are you okay? What's your name little one?" I asked the pup as I ran down the path towards the village. "Y-yes, I'm f-fine and m-my n-name is K-Kimi b-but what about y-you?" the pup now known as Kimi asked me. "I'll be fine Kimi-chan. Now, where do you live?" I said as I started healing myself after stopping to take a rest and to heal myself.

"I-I live at t-the mountain o-over there," Kimi replied while pointing to Koga's mountain in the distance. 'So Kimi-chan must be part of Koga's pack.' I thought just as the bird demon came out in front of the two of them. The demon swooped down and attacked me leaving a deep gash on my shoulder, which caused me to stumble and fall. Forcing Kimi to go flying out of my arms and to the ground several meters in front of the bird demon. "Now that the annoying human girl is out of the way, I can finally get what I came here for." The bird demon cackled as he started walking towards the frightened pup. But just as the bird demon was raising his sharp talons to finish off the cowering pup, a vast amount of power rose from behind the demon and threatened to send him crashing into the grove of trees behind him.

"YOU WILL NOT HARM MY PUP!" I roared before all went red.

Meanwhile not too far from them...

Koga's POV

I was running through my territory looking for Kimi who had ran off after being told that she couldn't go to the flower grove and pick flowers when I felt a huge blast of power that felt familiar somehow. 'who or what the hell was that?! it feels like... no, I was told by father that they were all wiped out by a rival wolf tribe many years ago.' I thought as I started to make my way towards a large amount of power. When I was halfway there I stopped and sniffed the air.

'This is Kimi's scent. What is she doing here? I can also smell a bird demon and I faintly smell another scent. This other scent is like Kagome's, but it's different. I should hurry, Kimi and possibly Kagome needs me.' I thought as I started running towards the blast as fast as I could.

Inuyasha's POV

"Where's that wench Kagome?" I growled impatiently as I sat in the Goshinboku above the others. "She won't be back for another week Inuyasha, just let her relax for once." Sango sighed, irritably as she sat at the base of the tree, cleaning her Hiraikotsu as Inuyasha grumbled about Kagome being gone... Again. "Keh she'll have plenty of time to relax when Naraku is dead and she gives me the Shikon and we can't do that 'till she gets back here." I scoffed as I jumped out of the tree.

"Where are you going Inuyasha?" Miroku asks him already knowing the answer.

"I'm going for a walk, and don't even think about following me Miroku," I said as I jumped up into the canopy and raced through the trees towards the well.

Normal POV

The bird demon looked up to see an enraged Kagome ready to attack. Kagome came at the demon with new found speed and power. In no time at all, Kagome had killed the bird demon. However, since Kagome was so inexperienced she had sustained a large amount of damage to herself and fell to the ground. Kimi looked up as the noise stopped, and saw Kagome start to sway before falling over.

"Kagome!" Kimi cried out in fear as she ran over to Kagome's side. Kimi stopped when she saw a bright white light start to surround Kagome, changing her before the little pups' eyes. When the bright light finally faded Kagome was no longer a human but a beautiful wolf demoness. Before Kimi could do or say anything further she smelt Koga approaching them fast. Her mood instantly lifted as she saw Koga's whirlwind approaching them.

"Koga! Koga! You have to help her!" Kimi frantically told Koga as he came up beside Kagome's side. Because of her change, though Koga did not recognize Kagome, and only saw an injured wolf demoness on the ground.

Koga's POV

'Who is this girl and how did she survive?' I wondered as I stared down at the wolf demoness in front of me. The demoness was wearing a white fur dress which went down to her knees. (AN~ Like Ayame's but can repair itself if shredded as well as remove any type of fluid from the fabric) The demoness had white hair with ice blue and ebony streaks through it which reached her ankles when left down but was up in a high braided ponytail with pale blue flowers wound throughout it. She had long sharp claws that were a natural silver in color and her ears now had a slight wolf point to them, like Koga's.

Her tail, though, was the most amazing of it all. It was a long smooth white tail which looked like it was dipped in blue and black paint, that went down almost to her feet. But now, because of the battle, her tail and hair were mostly soaked in blood. Again I couldn't help but ponder who she was and how she survived the massacre years before.

Normal POV

"Koga?" a weak voice croaked Koga instantly stopped staring into the demonesses deep blue eyes and saw that the demoness had spoken. "Yea but do I know you?" Koga asked. "More than you'll ever know." The demoness answered before she fainted again and transformed into a white wolf.

'I heard that white wolf demons could change into a white wolf when they need to conserve their energy, but I never thought I would ever see it happen. Especially since the entire clan of white wolf demons were murdered because of the unique powers they possess. But that seems to not be entirely true, because of this white wolf demon right in front of me.' Koga thought to himself while looking at her wounds.

"Koga, can you help her?" Kimi desperately asked Koga. "I can't help her myself," Koga replied, "but if we get her back to the den, then the tribe healers might." Kimi's little face lit up and her spirits lifted instantly knowing that the woman who saved her life would be fine. Koga picked up the white wolf gently and was about to tell Kimi to hop on his back when he smelt a certain short-tempered hanyō coming their way

"Koga you mangy wolf I know you have Kagome, now where is she?!" Inuyasha's loud voice came from the trees just before he appeared in front of the three wolf demons. "Koga I won't ask again, where's Kago… is that a white wolf?" Inuyasha's voice came out puzzled as he finally notices the wounded wolf in Koga's arms. "Why yes, it is mutt face, thanks for pointing that out to me." Koga said sarcastically, wondering what he was still doing standing there.

"That means that it's a white wolf demon, isn't it?" Inuyasha asked, his face lighting at the idea of getting its power for himself. "Yes she is a white wolf demon, and no you can't have her or her power." Koga said just before realizing his mistake. He had told Inuyasha that it was a girl, meaning that Inuyasha would only have to make her his mate to get her power. "You just said she was a girl, right? So hand her over and I won't have to kill you." Inuyasha demanded.

"No." Koga replied before telling Kimi to hop on his back and hang on tight. "I said…" Inuyasha started saying before Koga ran away carrying the other two demons back to his cave. "I'll get that white wolf, I know where Koga's going and soon I'll have her as my mate and use her powers to bring back Kikyo," Inuyasha said with a dark tone as he watched Koga's whirlwind disappear into the distance.
