Summary: Harry's thoughts after Sirius fell through the veil as he sits on Sirius's old bed.
Disclaimer: Ok so yeah the characters and stuff from the book are good old JK's but the rest is mine.
Black Satin Sheets
The door slowly creaked open and a young man found his way into the old room. Here Harry Potter stood in the master bedroom of Grimmauld Place and he looked around at all of Sirius's old things. The walls were black, as was nearly every piece of furniture. The couches and chairs made of black leather. Black hangings fell around the king size bed, some rich satin the rest fish netting. Harry raised his hand up and pulled aside the hangings, setting them on the clasps Sirius had hammered into the bedposts.
His eyes burned in the back with unwanted tears as he looked down at the neat black satin sheets. Sheets he knew all too well. The sheets he had lost his virginity under. The pillows he threw his head back on as he cried out his lover's name in passion.
Slowly Harry slid down onto the bed, just sitting, look towards the balcony. The balcony where the beginning to the best thing in his life began. The very place he, in a rash decision had kissed Sirius Black. Sirius had been shocked, his handsome face had held the deer in the headlights look. He soon snapped out of it and soon claimed Harry's mouth in a kiss that Harry would and could never forget.
Harry remembered the avoiding and the temptation. The constant excuse of his parents and morals. It didn't take long for Sirius to disregard morals, and they began the talking, kissing, acting like boyfriends, not much of lovers. What drove them over the edge was when Sirius had stepped out of the shower in all his glory. And boy did he have a lot of glory!
Just the thought of it nearly made Harry become hard, had he not realized that his Sirius wasn't there to help 'alleviate' the problem. At first it was more physical then it was love. But they soon found each other caught up in love. Harry had been more than willing to spend his life with Sirius Black. The thought of that made Harry lay back on the bed and a single tear broke free.
Their relationship had a lot of risks; a few people caught them but said nothing, as they knew the two would never harm each other. Remus, Lesley, Tonks, and even Snape had found out but even Snape said nothing. No biting remarks or anything. He had even opened up and told Harry that he should hold on to what he had, as love was hard to keep.
He was right of course, the war going on around them it was hard to keep up. Harry wondered what his parents were saying to Sirius right now about him and Harry. But honestly he couldn't find himself to care what they thought.
He reached out and grabbed one of the pillows, and cuddled around it. He smiled sadly, it still smelt like him. Harry closed his eyes as the tears broke down his face.
"One day, finally the time will be ours Sirius. One day..."
Finite Incantium
Me: I don't know I just felt like writing this. I thought Harry and Sirius should have been together but they weren't. Oh well it's a children's story what can you expect. Please review and tell me what you think! I would greatly appreciate it.
