"Dog speak"
'Human speak'
.:(End AN):.
It's been about a week since I played Nintendogs. I wonder what the scamps are up to.
.:(Line Break):.
Leanna the K.C spaniel trotted around the near empty house, searching for the other two dogs that lived in her home. She spotted Briar the German Shepard in the bedroom. Walking up, she began to talk to the other dog.
"Hey Briar, whatcha lookin' for?" Leanna barked to her friend.
"I'm looking for our owner Sage, what else would I be looking for. She has the toys, and the food, and everything else!" Briar snarled urgently.
"Anyway," the spaniel barked, "have you seen Rolo?" Rolo was the third dog that lived with them, a black and brown Chihuahua that their owner had purchased recently.
"Looking for me?" Rolo tipped as she stepped into the doorway. "What's going on anyway? And where's Sage? It's been five suns already," Rolo complained. Leanna rolled her eyes.
"We really need to break you of kennel-speak. Briar's looking for Sage, I was looking for you. Sage will come back eventually. She always does."
The creaking sound of the house door opening startled the dogs out of their conversation and they went racing to the living room. Once there, they found their owner Sage. They began barking and crowding around her.
'Hey guys, betcha missed me, huh?' Sage said. The dogs didn't really understand what she said, but kept yipping happily.
'Gimme a sec, guys,' she said, removing her shoes and padding into the small kitchen. She peeled open three cans of dog food and dumping them into a dish, and filling another dish with water. She placed the dishes in front of her puppies. As the dogs ate, she put together a sandwich and a glass of milk and fed herself.
The pups finished and leapt around, playing with each other.
'Guys, I'm leaving again, but I'll be back. I'll always be back," Sage spoke quietly before walking out the front door, locking it behind her.
The dogs froze in their frolicking.
"See Rolo?" Leanna yipped. "I told you she'd come back!" Rolo sighed.
"She just fed us and left again, Le." Rolo said, rolling her eyes. Leanne gave a sharp, laughing bark.
"Better than nothin', Rolo, better than nothin'. She'll be back again, I know it."

Yes, I do own a copy of Nintendogs. These are actually the names and breeds of my dogs. Yes, that is my trainer name.
