Ichiraku

Ok time for my second fic, this is just going to be a one shot, it's mostly a joke, I noticed that one of the translations for Teuchi is "killing with bare hands."

Naruto was having a bad day, his alarm hadn't gone off so he was late for class and Iruka had berated and made him stay after school to clean out erasers. He was just happy that it was now time to go to Ichiraku for dinner.

Ayame looked down and said, "What's wrong Naruto-kun?"

Naruto replied, "Nothing Ayame-chan, I'm just having a bad day."

Ayame said, "You look so cute when you pout. Tell you what, tonight's on the house."

Naruto visibly brightened, the thought of free ramen making his day oh so much better. After thanking Ayame profusely Naruto dug in.

10 bowels later Naruto was done, he only wanted a light meal, and didn't want to take advantage of Ayame's kindness. He got up to leave and only made it out of the stand when he started getting accosted by a couple drunken chunin.

Ayame was about to go shoo the drunks away when one of them pulled out a kunai and menaced Naruto with it. Knowing that she wasn't any match for them, even if they were drunk, Ayame called out into the back room, "Father, I need your help!"

Teuchi came out from the back and saw the two chunin, he walked from behind the counter and said, "Walk away you drunks, he's done nothing to you. If you don't I will be forced to take action."

One of the chunin turned his attention to Teuchi and sneered, "And what could you do old man."

Teuchi sighed, cracked his knuckles, and said, "I'll be forced to do this," and, moving with inhuman speed, punched the closest chunin in the head. The man that he punched flew down the street while flipping through the air.

Seeing his buddy get beaten so easily the other chunin grabbed Naruto and put the kunai he had against Naruto's neck. He said, "Don't come any closer or the demon brat gets it!"

Again Teuchi sighed, oh how he hated stupid people. He phased from view and appeared next to the chunin with said chunin's kunai in hand. He had his other hand around the chunin's neck and quickly snapped it.

Naruto stuttered, "O-old man, did you just kill that guy?"

Teuchi looked at Naruto and said, "Yes, Naruto, I did what I could to end the conflict as quickly as possible with out you getting hurt."

An ANBU showed up and asked, "Teuchi-taichou, what happened here?"

Teuchi replied, "I haven't been an ANBU captain for decades, just call me Teuchi. Anyway, two drunken chunin attacked poor Naruto here and I defused the situation as fast as possible, one of them is about 200 yards down the road. And this one is dead; he had a kunai to Naruto's neck so I had little choice but to kill him.

The ANBU responded, "Okay I'll see to it that everything is taken care of Teuchi. Please escort Naruto home for me."

Teuchi nodded and brought Naruto home to make sure no one else tried anything.

I know that it's not my best writing but I like the idea of Teuchi being a retired ANBU captain.
