A/N: Having recently beaten Super Paper Mario, I had to write this.

All around disclaimer: I do not own Super Paper Mario, or anything that appears within it.

The man, lying on the floor of his house, gazed up at his son with horror.

"Blumiere, my son, don't! Even your ancestors could not handle that dark book..."

His son, dressed in shabby, tattered clothes, glared down at the injured man.

"If you open that book, there's no telling what might happen!"

"I do not care father!" Blumiere spat. " A world without her is empty. A LIFE without her is empty."

Then, Blumiere turned his attention to a book, dark and foreboding, hovering next to him.

"Speak, Dark Prognosticus! Teach your dark history! I await your command!"

Slowly, the dark tome opened it's pages, revealing it's forbidden secrets to the Dark Tribe descendant..

"Bleh heh heh! Bleck!"'

The man on the ground attempted to stand, but his wounds were causing him pain. So much pain.

"Blumiere, what have you done?"

Blumiere glared down at his father.

"Silence! The first prophecy beckons. I will erase every inch...of this blasted world!

"Bl-Blumiere! Don't do this Blumiere!"

The dark man laughed, evilly.

"Blumiere is no more! I am Count Bleck! And no one shall stand in my way!"

"Bleh heh heh! Bleck!"

The Dark Prognosticus glowed with a rich, dark aura, as it summoned all the power encased within it's pages.

Count Bleck let the aura enter his body, and felt the power that the Prognosticus entrusted to him.

And then, it was set.

The first line in the Prophecy of Destruction.

"And so, the Count of Darkness shall obliterate the Land that he called his home, setting the Chain Reaction to bring about the Death of All Worlds."

The Count peered down once more at the man who was his father.

He lied there, bleeding, his game ending.

His eyes were begging his son for mercy, to spare land that had been their's since the time of their ancestors.

Bleck, for a second felt a twinge of remorse. Was this what he wanted? Was this destruction truly what he was meant for? Was this what Timpani would have wanted?

Timpani...

This man, his father, took her away, banishing to another dimension, leaving her to die because of their love...

And without her, there was no point to life. Not his own, not his father's, not even the Universe's.

So he would erase it all.

With a final glance at the man who was his father, Count Bleck gave a last sneer.

"Goodbye, father. Bleh heh heh...."

And he released the power within him.

Darkness swirled. Millions screamed as they were consumed by the great black void, to be lost in a great sea of non-existence.

But not Bleck.

Protected by the Prognosticus itself, Bleck felt himself shift from the destroyed world into a new darkness.

It tugged on his ragged clothes, it's currents demanding the Count sink within them, like a raft in a great black sea.

With a sigh of regret, the Count whispered a final prayer, in what he considered to be the final words of Blumiere.

"Sweet Timpani, I will never give up on you."

And with that, Count Bleck allowed the Currents of Darkness to carry him to a world unknown, where he would begin his quest for destruction.

The Dark Prognosticus seemed to sigh contently, as if it knew it's Darkest Prophecy was about to be executed.

A/N:Ooh, dark! I will most likely expand this into Count Bleck's journey across the dimensions, where he meets minions before instigating his plan to destroy the Universe. If you think I should, then, by all means, please let me know!

Anyway, I hope that this was enjoyable! Ciao! (Yes, that was a Dimentio reference :D)
