I was just bored and I don't know if this makes any sense at all but, Harry and Ginny haven't seen each other since the summer after the battle.
Thoughts
"talking"
A beautiful, red-headed woman steps onto the pitch.
I wonder if he thinks of me anymore.
A handsome, raven-haired man props his feet up in his office.
I wonder if she thinks of me anymore.
The woman takes her broom from under her arm, smiling up at the large group of red-heads present in the stands.
I wish he could be here.
The man looks at a ticket in his hand the Holyhead Harpies it reads, he glances at the clock.
I wish I could be there.
She flies around in the air, waving toward her brothers.
He's the one that encouraged me.
He drops his feet then, with the ticket clutched in his fist, walks out his door.
She's the one that kept me sane.
This woman scores goal after goal, wanting to win the cup with her team.
He's the one that worked with me.
This man leaves the ministry with a pop, arriving at a stadium.
She's the one that trained with me.
Her team screams, they have won.
Does he know…
His best mate claps his back, grinning like a fool.
Does she know…
Her captain points toward her family, she turns her head.
He's here…
His best mate again grins, and points to the pitch.
She knows…
He starts running.
I need to tell her.
She is frozen.
Where did he go?
He hears nothing but his own heart.
I'm close.
She notices the crowd quiet.
He's on the pitch.
He stops in front of her.
This is it.
She reaches out to touch him.
I can't.
He takes her hand pressing it against his cheek.
"Ginny…"
She opens her mouth and hesitates.
"Harry…"
He wraps his arms around her.
Now.
She stares at him.
Finally.
Together they lean in.
"I love you, then, now, and forever.
Their lips touch for the first time in five years.
Heaven.
