Well as we begin the fan fic Dilandau made a surprise attack on Van as he was just takeing
a stroll in the woods and now (as always) They fight.

Dilandau's blade cuts close to Van's face but was caught just in time by Van's swoard.
"I will have your head, Van!"
"I your dreams."
Van pushed away Dilandau then smiled and jumped into one of the trees.
"Until next time."
He said as he jumped from tree to tree
"I'LL KILL YOU!"
Van just laughed at Dilandau's rage as he made his way back to his Esca.

Van sits in his Esca with his legs up and arms behind head looking over a lake as the sun
sets.
"I have to admit. He did plan that surprise attack perfectly."
Van laughed
"Too bad he can't climb."
A cat-like girl suddenly brust from the forest to the left.
"Merle?"
Van yells down to Merle who is now running
"What's the matter Merle?"
Merle yelled up to him out of breath
"I..It's that stupid asswhole a..again. He's a..after the town i..in his Esca."
Van puts his legs down then took the controls as his Esca truned into it's Dragon form
"Come on, I'll take you to the house we're staying in and then go and take care of
Dilandau."
Van swopted down to get Merle then flew high in the air going at full speed.

As Van was about to land about a hundred feet away from Dilandau he turned back into
battle mode.
"Diladau!"
He turned to Van. Even from the distance Van could see his evil smile.
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha You fool! You have fallen into my trap!"
Suddenly out of no where the other dragon lsayers appeared out of nowhere and grabed Van.
Van, try as he might couldn't get loose and was draged off by the slayer into the deep
forest.

Van had stopped fighting long ago and was now deep in the forest at night. Dilandau
lead them all here.
"Let him go. I wish to kill him by myself."
The slayer let go and then disappeared in the background but Van knew they would still be
watching and waiting.
Dilandau raised his sword then Van did the same. Dilandau made the first move running
toward Van full speed. He slashed at him in rage and hatered but Van blocked every block
effortlessly. Dilandau's anger kept growing and as this happened his skill got less and
less. until he could no longer take it and called for the dragon slayers to come out.
Van was ready. He fought hard but he was out numbered and after about 45 mins was bound
down again and very tired.
"Well..well. No I have you Van." Dilandau said still pulseing with hate.
"and." He laughed shortly
"Now you shall die."
He runs forward suddenly and before Van could even blocked his blade pierced his chest.
Van coughed up a large amount of blood then blacked out.

Light, surrounded by light. Head pounding. Sudden cold was felt on Van's forehead. He
opened his eyes painfully and looked on the cheerful face of Hitomi.
"What happened?"
Van said in a low whisper.
"You where attacked. but don't worry I'll take care of you until you're well."
Hitomi said in a comforting voice.
Van smiled.
"I know I'll be fine when you're with me...."
