A story that popped into my head as I was writing my other story. On a side note, there is kind of a spoilerish thing in hear. Read at your own risks if you haven't found out who the fourth hokage is, or was.
Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto. Just little ideas that pop up in my head randomly.
Silly little habits. That's all they were. Some of the greatest people in the world had some of the worst habits.
Take Kakashi for example. He was addicted to...well, porn. Of course pornography has been proven to be addictive in studies. But who would've guessed that it stemmed from Kakashi being emotionally unstable and a bet?
The bet had simply started off as innocent soon turned into something more. Minato, Kakashi's sensei had noticed how the kid seemed to be drawing into himself. Not talking to anyone. So one day he decided to bet Kakashi that he wouldn't be able to read the junk his sensei wrote for two months. Not one to miss a challenge, Kakashi went out and bought the first book.
When Minato saw Kakashi the next day with the book, he nearly had a heart attack. Needless to say he had not expected to see Kakashi reading the book. In plain veiw. For everybody to see.
Within two weeks Kakashi had stopped turning a bright red color when reading it. It had now dimmed to a dull pink color.
Minato on the other hand was mentally and somewhat verbally cusing himself out for having ever decided to make the bet. After the two months had passed Minato had decided that Kakashi, no matter how much of a genius he was, was a nut case. No matter the fact that Kakashi actually talked now or anything like that. He had gotten his student hooked on porn. And he wasn't even legally allowed to read it!
The day after the bet ended he noticed his student still reading it. When Kakashi was asked why he didn't stop, his reply was that it wasn't that bad, and Obito had also mentioned it in passing. Minato at this point decided two things, one, that he should've gotten him that cat, and two, that when he had a child, that the said child would (hopefully) be able to tell the difference between perverted men and semi-normal people. And would thus mark them as such. He decided he wouldn't care if Naruto called his own sensei a pervert. It would serve him right.
Not long after this, the fourth hokage died. And Kakashi continued to read the books.
