Hey there! This is my first TRC fanfic, and might not live up to many expectations...but, hey, that's why they make these things usch as reviews So...to make some things clear, this is before the Tokyo arc I guess...Syaoran's clone hasn't left the group yet and the real Syaoran hasn't shown himself...Let's just say that the group is stuck in this world and stuff. Whatever. xD
Okay...so I hope you enjoy this!!! It took me about a month to get my facts straight to make this story possible. But if some facts aren't TOTALLY correct with the original plot, don't sue me. I had to get around some, y'know?
a/n: I DO NOT OWN TSUBASA CHRONICLES IN ANY WAY. CLAMP DOES.
okay, now onward with the story!
Syaoran gasped for air as he surfaced from the clear, blue lake. Sakura waved from the beach the group had chosen for their camp.
"Syaoran-kun! Kuro-sama and Fai-sama are back from hunting. You can come back now!"
Syaoran nodded and started swimming toward camp when a flash of gold in the water caught his eye…
It was a book.
Syaoran looked toward the shoreline. Everyone was preparing food. In a flash, he dove and retrieved the leather-bound book that sat on a pile of smooth, round stones. He swam back to shore as the stones glowed, revealing an eye in the middle.
Resurfacing once again, Syaoran clutched the book as he stood up from the water, dripping wet.
"Syaoran!" Sakura pouted, immediately glaring at him in a playful way.
"Uh, Sakura-hime…sorry to keep you waiting." Syaoran looked around, seeming distracted. "I'm not that hungry, so you guys can all eat." Kurogane shrugged and began eating. However, Sakura wasn't convinced.
"Syaoran! You've been swimming for the past 4 hours. I think you're stomach deserves some fuel!" Sakura pointed out.
Fai glanced at Syaoran and a something was told between the glances. "Sakura-hime, I think Syaoran deserves a break. Maybe he's tired?"
Sakura nodded, dejected. "Alright Syaoran. Good night!"
Syaoran bowed as he departed into his tent. "Now I can see what this is about…" he whispered to himself as he felt the cover of the book.
Instantly, a fire appeared, igniting some words into the cover.
Syaoran Li
Syaoran gazed at the cover, confused. Opening the book, he saw a bunch of photographs of him of his whole life and words randomly scrawled in between them.
His mind was racing as he reached the last page.
It read: Property of Li Kyoma.
With a feather inscribed next to it.
Reading the last few words, the world shook into darkness and Syaoran awoke.
It was a dream then? Syaoran looked around. The room was empty, and everyone was sleeping peacefully…
He glanced at the table next to him and stared in shock. The leather-bound book with no title lay there next to him.
Okay, I admit it might've been creepy at some points. I was a bit spooked myself. xD
Still, hope everyone enjoyed it!!! Please review!!!
and I dunno if I should continue this...I'm also working on a Pita-Ten fanfic and my friends have been on my case on making an Ouran one...so don't be disappointed if the next chapter doesn't come out right away. xP
Thanks for reading!
