"Come on!" Dean goaded, tensely leading with his crossed-over hands, taser ready. Raw nerves. Rawhead. Joke in there somewhere-
The rawhead materialized right in front of him, savage punch knocking Dean groundwards, taser flying. Dean sprang to his hands and knees, scrabbling through the water, desperately lunging for his weapon. He grabbed it, fell back into the cellar's watery, shallow corner, hands bracing the taser at the approaching fugly.
He fired.
Electricity zapped the rawhead, forks erupting everywhere. Bolts jolted through its bare feet, hit the water and arced into Dean. Losing consciousness, he wondered if Hell felt like this.
